CAGiversary!
This is a bit long, I apologize...
Last year I ordered from Play-Asia, and the package made it to my city but it got sent back. I had used my work address and for whatever reason the suite number did not get put on the package, though I checked and it was among my address data in their system. So they were going to wait until it got back to them and just send it again and bill me for shipping again, which is fine, it wasn't that much.
But the package's return trip got it to Singapore and it seemed to get stuck there. I kept checking in, but Play-Asia had no update to give me. I waited over a month and decided that was enough, and disputed the charge through my credit card company. Play-Asia did send a new order with the same items, and I got billed for that one and it was delivered as expected. I'm assuming they eventually got the return order back as well. Everything seemed fine.
Except this week, I bought a couple of games, completed the order, but was told it was blocked from processing because my account has a dispute on it. I have to conclude it's because of the issue from 2015, because it's the only problem I've ever had with them. They keep asking me to contact my bank and have them close the dispute, but my bank already has closed it. I have the correspondence from the bank stating this, and I sent Play-Asia a copy last year. My bank is telling me that they (P-A) need to resolve things with their bank. Ugh, bureaucracy.
Now the weird thing is, I've ordered from Play-Asia one other time since that incident, on 12/22, and I didn't have this problem at all. Order was placed, shipped, received, no issues. So why now? Has anyone else run into this, and if so how did you get it resolved? The regular email support staff don't seem to be able to help at all.
Thanks in advance.
