Anybody else's Sixaxis analog face buttons screwy?

CAGiversary!
I started playing MGS3 Subsistence on my 60gigger today, and I'm having a big problem. My square button (for guns) doesn't have very good analog sensing. I can only let off of the button lightly about 1/10 of the time. So I end up shooting when I don't want to. My O button is a little bit better, but not by much. When I press the triangle button during cutscenes to zoom in, it always snaps and zooms about halfway in initially, and then I have to very, very lightly let off to zoom back out.

I like the PS3 buttons because they're very snappy. They're great for action games and fighting games. I didn't like the PS2 buttons because they were mushy and set a little bit too low. But now I can't play MGS because I don't get proper analog detection. Am I the only one?
MGS3's pressure controls are VERY sensitive. I don't know how many throats I slit accidentally.
But I never had this problem with guns on MGS2 or 3 on the PS2.

I think it's the snappiness that causes the gun to fire. It senses the button being released at too fast a speed to not shoot.

My analog sticks have been acting funny the past couple of days. I've been playing R&C: Future and at random Ratchet will start running in circles and I have zero control over him.

I have to click both analogs repeatedly to regain control. Anyone else have that issue? Should I call about a replacement?

Yea, I have the same problem with one of my controllers, kinda sucks when ur in a firefight and all of a sudden ur spining in circles. Throws ur opponents off tho. But if its still under warrenty u should get it switched, it can only get worse.
