Anybody here work at Goodwill?

I'm in a job assessment program with them right now getting paid to work for a month.

Has anybody worked there? What do you think? What did you do?

A good friend of mine works for them, he is a janitor at a state office building.

They also have store positions and I have no idea what else.

I work at the Goodwill in tacoma on 38th st. in donations. I hate my job btw but I get 40 hours a week so whatever.

I heard donations suck because you have to lift heavy furniture and people just want to dump garbage and you have to give them the bad news that they don't take it. I wouldn't want to do donations.

What don't they take anyway? I know they don't take TVs, which seems kind of weird.
