I am really enjoying DNF, and im wondering if anybody knows of any similar games. FPS titles that dont take themselves too seriously but still have some intense action. Anything else out there like Duke?

Haven't played it yet. But the game Eat Lead: The Return of Matt Hazard is suppose to be very similar. It definitely doesn't take itself seriously. Is it a fun game though? I have no idea.

Bulletstorm is probably like Duke, although I haven't played it. I loved Duke Nukem 64 to death, and I'm waiting for this one to drop down in price only because there are so many games coming out that I want. I can't afford to pick it up at full price, but I'm definitely going to get it. I don't care if it has an average score of 1 or not, I love Duke!

thanks guys, i'll have to check those out. And supraazn, i'm having a great time with Duke. It seems the low scores the reviewers are giving it are simply based on the fact that it's Duke. I've seen more than a few reviews essentially say that it cant stack up to the Call of Dutys or Halos of today's FPS. Although that really isnt what I was looking for in Duke. Only real issue I have with it are the loading times, and the stage where Duke gets shrunk. It's fun at first, kind of controls like the warthog in Halo, but the stage lasts just a little longer then the novelty does. Other than that, it's classic Duke.

Matt Hazard (Eat Lead) is actually a parody of Duke Nukem (I'm actually fairly certain that it started life as a Duke Nukem game). Since Duke Nukem already doesn't take it self seriously - imagine a parody of that. It's doubly non-serious.

I think Eat Lead is a third person shooter, though. I can't remember if I'm right about that.

No, cant think of any other games that bad...maybe hello kitty island adventure?
Naw jk
Doom 3, Serious Sam, Eat Lead, all your raunchy shoot em up games.

In more ways than one.

In my opinion, and a humble one at that, that's why more than a few reviewers don't matter. Duke Nukem is nothing like Call of Duty or Halo and was never intended to be, so why would you compare the two? You wouldn't say "well, Mario Kart doesn't stack up to Gran Turismo." Or maybe they would, hell, if it ain't CGR, I hardly trust a review any more.
