Anyone buy a PS3 since July 1st?

I just bought mine about a month ago and so I'm not eligible for the 5 Blu-ray disc deal. They will however accept a photocopy of the receipt instead of the real thing, so if anybody has bought one since the 1st could they send their receipt my way? It would be soo greatly appreciated!

so you miss out on the dvds AND the $100 price drop. Ouch.
 
Little harsh, eh guys? I know it's my first post but I've been listening to the CAGcast for awhile, and known about the site, its just this is the first thing that seemed to require a post on my part. Any help would be appreciated, and im not "begging" for one I was just hoping somebody could help a fellow gamer out on their unfortunate situation.

Explain to me how its not begging? Are you offering goods/services in return, have you shown to us in the past you are worthy? Do we know you? Etc. Etc. Etc.


I can't wait for that price drop...
 
so its going to just be a 100 buck price drop across the board or is that just at cc for now and could be more in the future? im definelty in for a 100 price drop makes it worth it.

I don't know if it's begging, but you are asking for other people's help to commit fraud.
 
Eh, I don't know if it would be considered "fraud". But anyways, it wasn't a demand or anything, if people don't think im worthy of such an offer, no biggy. I'd like to think I would help me out if i was one of you all.
 
PS3's are serial numbered. Any receipt would have a serial number, and the person then sending the receipt wouldn't be able to do it.
