Anyone checked whether TRU B2G1 can be used w/ EA B2G1?

The fine print on the rebate on EAs site says not valid with other offers or smething to that effect. Someone sent it in and had it refused? That is assuming the EA title is one of the two you paid for.

And can someone put up a link to contact them. I keep searching through their site and I can't find a simple email to ask them the question myself and whether the barcode from the manual will work instead of the cover.

Thanks.

I was wondering this as well, I bought NBA live 2005 at GR for $20 (part of the greatest of 2004 promo), and I didn't know if I should buy another one or not.

On the coupon its says that it may not be used in combination with other offers (not sure if this include instore?) but I think as long as the 2 ea games are marked on the reciept as being paid for (so that neither of the EA games are free) you could stand a chance

Just sent in a question to EA support. I should hear from them within a day. I asked whether the TRU deal would still work and whether the UPC in the manual would suffice.

I'll update when I hear from them.

I agree with hunto. If you buy two EA games from TRU at full price, it's none of their business if TRU gives you a free game. I see no reason you wouldn't get a free game from EA as well.

I better be getting the deal. I bought Tiger Woods for $29.99 with my trade in of a game at Game Rush.

The people at the Game Rush I went to in Westfield were idoits. They said I had to have a coupon to do the trade 1 get 1 new for $29.99.

Agreed. You bought them at full price, so you deserve the free game.

Makes sense to me that if you're buying two games at full price, you whould be able to get the extra game promotion from EA. Buying two games is all that it said, from what I remember reading about it.

If the register rang out 1/3 off each game, it should work as well, unless the coupon says they have to be at regular price for you to be able to get the third game free.

Got the reply from EA today. They didn't answer whether games bought during the TRU sale (which I clearly stated were paid in full) would work. They did say that you would have to send in the UPC from the game cover. Craptacular.

They have told me to check wheresmyrebate.com to answer my other questions. Too bad they don't have an email to reach. It's only a phone number and long distance to boot. 914 area code. If anyone could help out a CAG further, it'd be greatly apprecited. PM me if you can contact them and ask. Thanks.

hopefully it works. i just sent in my offer a couple of days ago. i bought tiger woods 05 for 29.99 at GR and live 2005 for like $10 with trade ins at gamestop. what would happen if it doesnt work? do they just send back the money or what?
