Anyone else here get mad when they find a door dent on there car? *Updated with pics*

My old car had a bunch of dents and dings before I trade it in after 14 years. So far my new car (3 years) doesn't have much dent problem. Although there is a 1/2 inch scrape on the door handle. I had to use some touch-up paint to cover up the part where the paint was scraped away. Not sure how it happened.

What about the jackasses who mow the lawn for your company and blow grass and other shit onto your car?

Yeah, I always park far off in the parking lot, but some dickhead with a piece of trash manages to find their way next to me.

yeah i saw them...i have the same exact dents on my car..i wish to do the same because i still have no idea how i acquired 4 dents on my car. atleast you know who did it. thats a good idea wonder what the costs would be to set up something like that.

old dv cam ,don't use a brand new one just in case some fuckers break into your car to get the cam. hide it under a jacket or something, but there is a good chance so fucker might see the reflection from the lens. god damn it why is it fucking illegal to tint your windows in NoVA?
So will anything really be done if you take a picture of the damage and write down their license plate number?

I'm crazy about my car (try to wash it every work...I make sure to wash it at least every other week and I do a full detail on it once every 3 months) but I can't avoid people and their stupid doors. I'm always really careful, especially if it's a tight parking spot, when I'm getting out of the car. I'm sick of having to pay money to get the dents removed or to get it repainted if the scratch goes through the clearcoat and paint...
There's a good chance something could be done. It's always better though if the cops get the person that day.

It also depends on the damage and if you're willing to fill out sworn statements, and you better be sure it was them that did the damage. If you have the license plate, the cops can get the owner information from the registration. From that they'll get where the owner lives and will just meet them at their house asking them who is going to pay for the damages.
amen brother.... popping tires would have taken longer with a pen :( although.... i do have a box of thumb tacks...think that will do anything when they roll over?
Nope. Nothing more than putting tap shoes on the car.

i left my car in the parking lot for 30 MINUTES!
Ouch! Hopefully the car who did that was damaged just as bad (or worse).

Why do people always feel the need to park next to you when you're parked really far out in the parking lot? I'll park about 15spaces away from the nearest car and instead of parking in any of the 13 spaces in between where they won't be next to a car, they choose to park right next to me. I just don't get it...

Some people are just idiots.

And I imagine there are many that do it just to piss you off. They see your car and say to themselves, "What makes her so special? Miss high-and-mighty-can't-park-with-us-lower-class-people. I'll show her!"
