Anyone else intered in Ys?

I have been waiting for this title for a while and now that I actually have a PSP, I can't wait for it to come out. I dont have that much info but a few websites say it slated for a June 1st release. Gamespot has a video up from E3 if anyone is interested:

Looks good, I am edging more to Tales of Eternia, but we'll see what comes out first

I don't remember hearing a release date. It was more of an action-rpg.

I think he meant, the PS2 version, which was release last month....


I been waiting for some RPG's for the PSP... so I'll have this on preorder soon...

Nope. He said he got to play it on the PSP in the E3 thread.

Anyway, I was hoping for some more to be announced. When I went to Japan, they already had 3-4 rpgs and a Tactical RPG out. That was like a month ago too.

Don't know if the release date will stick, but just noticed Gamestop dropped the PSP version to $29.99

Along with a few other games at $29.99 coming for the PSP, hopefuly this means more PSP games will be around that price, aka affordable.

Could also be that it's a striaght port, as well. I'm fine paying $40 dollars for most PSP games, I'd pay $40 for this, but it's just the damn $50 dollar ones that EA thinks they can get away with.

Anyways... November 1st now? What the hell is taking them so long? If they can hurry up and release this early enough, they'll get massive sales just for being the first RPG on the system.
