Anyone ever go to job corps/know someone who has?

A friend of mine has dropped outta school (against my advice) and now he's looking into going to job corps. He's not internet savvy so he asked me to ask around for him. He mainly wants to know what it's like there and and how it differs from living at home. He thinks it's going to be like military bootcamp but no guns and stuff. If someone can give some input he and I would appriciate it.

Yea, I showed him that but he wants to know what it's really like. He wants input from people not a site.
