Anyone ever preorder from Walmart? need questions answered.

Was gonna pre-order Skate 3 from walmart to get the deals they got, and have it in store pickup. But when i was about to proceed to pay for it, it showed like a week and a half later ( after the game is released ) i can pick up the game.. why cant i get it on release day? Anyone ever went through Walmart for preorders + in store pickup ? that is ridicilous you cant get it day one.

I've preordered from Walmart before tho not in store pickup. You pay (and get) the bonus gift card up front and they'll charge you for the game when it is shipped. I preordered SSF4 from them and shipped to home. It came 3 business days after the release date so it wasn't too bad. Not sure about in store pickup tho.

There's always a delay for in-store pickup. They don't just take it from what they have on hand. There's the processing delay then they have to ship it to the store, then it has to get processed at the store.
