All the Shah's Men: An American Coup and the Roots of Middle East Terror by Stephen Kinzer.

Fascinating book about Mohammed Mossadegh (Iranian Prime Minister in the late 40's early 50's), the events leading up to a MI6/CIA coup against him, the coup itself, and Iran afterwards. Especially topical and interesting to read with Iran being in the news lately.

So, uh, have you read it? If so, discuss.
 
what's crazy is.... that's just ONE of the times that's happened, in various countries and not a lot of people really bring it up

also, most of the people who post here don't read books

unless you count a stack of printed out penny arcade strips.. or a cheat code bible
