Anyone ever used dawdle.com?

It is legit, but it seems like it's really new so therefore there aren't as many listings on it as many other sites (like Goozex!). I'm going to test the waters in Dawdle so I can let you CAGs know how it goes.

Hi. Yeah, we're real and legit.

There's a thread in Contests and Giveaways - http://www.cheapassgamer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=161465 - that may be helpful.

Hope you guys come and check us out; we're giving away a Wii to one lucky seller! Listing is free, and it's really easy. A CAG paid us a great complement -
I bid on some items ... gotta get some info today to list some items.

This site is about 10000 times easier to use then Ebay ... easy to list and bid. Takes a while to get use to the pricing system but I eventually and I'm pretty sure fully understand it. Only took about 10 mins actually to get everything down pact.

I like it and I can't think of a time I've ever tried something as new as this. In this case though, it just feels right.

Hey I was quoted! I think that's a first.

I guess I don't even have to enter in my comments about the site.

Oh and for the record, my items are on the way :D
If PayPal was offered, it'd be better. I don't trust such a new site with bank account numbers and such.
Actually, checking account info is *safer*, for a variety of reasons. There's verification and standarized reporting tools that ensures delivery of funds into your account. For technical reasons, this isn't true with PayPal. All Dawdle can see is that we've sent funds out; we can't guarantee that you actually received the funds.

It's impossible for Dawdle, even with your checking account information, to take money out of your account (or anyone else). Remember, we're not asking for anything that other sites, such as Amazon or Half, don't ask for. We're a TRUSTe licensee and have Verisign's Extended Validation certificate, so I can say with confidence that no one is more secure than we are.

That said, we're looking into adding PayPal - enough people have asked for PayPal that we're trying to find a way to add it that still works for everyone and Dawdle can ensure payment to your account. I can't guarantee that we'll be able to work through the certainty of payment issue, but we're working with them to see what we can do and what the technical requirements are.

Wow, that was long-winded. Oh well. At least no one can say we're not listening. :D
