Anyone excited about the Legend of Zelda's new game coming out soon for Cube? Anyone planning on prepurchasing the game to get the remake of windwaker?

Yeah I'm excited about the game, and the remake of Windwaker, man that Windwaker remake will be the sweetest thing EVER. I'm looking foward to the Deluxe Edition of whatever they are calling it. I wonder what else they are adding to the package besides the WINDWAKER REMAKE?!?!? Oh wait, April Fools Joke....DAMN. If I read another person thinking this game is real I seriously may go back to my shed and put a +%&#@! in my head.

You're right, Denis. I much prefer the unofficial 2D sequels you developed and posted on your web site. They show such a great understanding of the qualities that made the original game a timeless classic.

Which Zelda is your favorite, and why don't you like OoT? I didn't care for Wind Waker myself, and I'm a big zelda fan.

Yes, if only for the fact that people are clamoring for more games like OOT, and they aren't for the CD-i ones.
 
I enjoy Denis' comments in the Zelda threads, because he pretty much has the same opinion as I do... although he's a bit more abrasive about it.

BTW, I don't think OOT is the worst Zelda, but it's far from the best.

I agree with you Chris. I also didn't like Majora's Mask, but not as bad as I disliked WW. I thought OoT was excellent.
 
Just preordered Legend of Zelda yesterday--I think this will fill out my GC collection quite nicely.

I'm practically counting down the days till the new one comes out. I really hope they have a good preorder bonus like Windwaker did.
 
Nintendo should get the hint that people are sick of playing as Link all the time. I prefer to play as the females in any game I play (example: Any and All RE's). So, if we could play as Zelda for the entire game, that'd be a nice change, probably. As long as she isn't wearing that dumb outfit that she's always wearing.

Something tells me she would be in that outfit....Nintendo isn't exactly known for putting its characters in different outfits.
