anyone going to Pre-Order these games for ps2 mostly rpgs and etc.

Final Fantasy XII ( hope this is good )

We Love Katamari ( first one was fun :D )

Inuyasha Feudal Combat ( i wonder if this game will be any good )

Kingdom Hearts 2 ( First one was soo GREAT you know it ^__^ i know mostly everyone will get this , hope this improve tons ^__^ )

Full Metal Alchemist 2: Curse/Crimson ( first one was easy and was boring . wonder this will be the samething . its gonna be like playing Dynast Warriors lol )

I think the only PS2 RPGs I am going to get this year will be Final Fantasy XII and Kingdom Hearts II. I am trying to save $$$ for the next generation consoles, and for other stuff besides video games.
 
I kind of want to get Atelier Iris but I saw on GameSpot there is a part 2 as well. I don't want to get stuck having to buy both games. I'd like to see more reviews or info on the second part before buying it just to be safe.

Kingdom Hearts II, Legendia and FFXII I already have preordered. Can't forget Radiata Stories either. Though the saving/insane power level monster comes out of nowhere thing that I've heard so much about has lowered my expectations I think it will be a fine game.

I'm going to wait to order We Love Katamari. I'm praying with all of my athiest heart that there will be some store somewhere that has some kind of bonus for it. If they made some little Prince figure with a few items you could put on him or a katamari ball it would be the best thing ever.

For some reason I want to play Romancing Saga even though the character design scares me to no end. Doubt I'd buy it though unless it gets great reviews.
 
I am all about picking up Makai Kingdom and Atelier Iris. SRPGs own me and this generation has blown the genre wide open.

Romancing Saga = boundless joy
Open fields, wonderful music, and a free scenario system. Then again I did enjoy the infamous Unlimited Saga so what do I know.

Square has been dissappointing with the FF series since the cutscene was introduced in 7 and I could not stand Kingdom Hearts. If it was given Zelda controls and no Gummi Ship, I would've been looking forward to the sequel.

Also why no Wild Arms up there? I don't know why, but I'm guessing the western theme and whistling music sucks me into its little world.

Since I am a commitment phobe however I will not preorder anything. I will however, walk in to my local Gamestop/EB like I usually do and pick up the only copy that was shipped in since nobody preorders titles I am interested in.
 
i only pre-order games fit in one of the following categories:

  1. i plan on playing it right away
  2. ive been anticipating the game for a long time and even if i dont play it right away, the excitement of it being out is killing me
  3. it comes with exclusives that appeal to me
  4. it's a limited edition or collector's edition
  5. the game has limited quantities or is going to be hard to find
  6. the game is doing something that i want to support by paying full-price on release...examples: katamari damacy - i wanted to support quirky games being brought overseas....ffx-2 - i wanted to support continuations on ff games, in hopes of a ff7-2...or something as simple as the game having a low msrp
 
My comments on preorder are basically just like TSD's.
But of the list, the only game I'm interested in getting is FFXII. Admittedly, I don't know anything about Makai Kingdom.
I couldn't get into Kingdom Hearts, so I'm not real interested in KH2.

5) Perhaps... the more FFs they make, the less clothes the male leads are wearing - and that's disturbing.. I haven't seen anything other than gorgeous screenshots so far that require a $ deposit.

FFXII was delayed into next year. Try Dragon Quest VIII instead. I'll be getting that and Kingdom Hearts 2.

6: Katamari Hell Yeah! Will definitely preorder. Please, Namco, include some extras! Even a Katamari-shaped hi-bounce ball would suffice.

I might preorder Makai Kingdom just for the artbook and decal. Otherwise, I rarely ever buy games at launch much less preorder them unless I'm sure the price isn't going to drop anytime soon or I have a feeling it's going to be rare.
 
I already pre-ordered Atelier Iris, but if they don't have the promotional music CD when I go to pick it up, I'm not buying it. I'll pre-order FFXII for sure, and very likely get Katamari, KH2, and Tales at release.
