Can anyone posts a high-res scan of the Best Buy GGC coupon that expires 2005. I was wondering if a scan of the coupon would work. Just cut it out and say it's a coupon printed from the website or something. I think it might work to always get an extra $5 off any $19.99 game.
 
I thought it was a card, not a coupon.. then again, I don't shop at BB. I'm just assuming it's a card because.. well, Gamer Gift Card. Or is it Gift Gamer? Whatever.
 
I can't find any more of the $5 off $20 cards around my area anymore. I just see the $5 off $30 now. Good luck with trying to use the print out, I have a hard enough time trying to use the actual coupon at BB. It seems like all the ones around me are on "high alert" when it comes to video games.
 
I've got a bunch of these coupons. In general, is there any interest in involving them in some sort of trade?
 
Your chances of getting a scan of that coupon to work are slim to none.

Scorch, the gift card comes in a jewel box, and the cardboard insert in the jewel box has the $5 off coupon.

I don't know... I bet if you printed it to size and went to the register it would work no problem. You don't have to get the card too. THe theory behind these things is that you gift the card to someone with money on it and they can use the coupon whenever - it just so happens that we all like to gift the card to ourselves and use the coupon and card all in one shot. I'm betting it would work.

It probably could be done with a cashier who doesn't read the instructions, but it is against the rules.
