Anyone heard of game-bids.com?

I saw an ad for game-bids.com on craigslist today auctioning off an iPad tonight. I guess the site is a penny-auction type deal. Never done a penny-auction before but this site looks more like it focuses on gamer stuff.

Anyone have any feedback on them or used them? They had a couple "testimonials" on the site...but I wanted some feedback from people here before I try it.

Those penny auction sites are a total scam. They charge you $1 per bid, plus the cost of your bid, so if something that normally sells for $1,000 sells for $600 and the auction only goes up by a penny each time....well....do the math.

They make A LOT of money PER item.

not to mention it's very easy for you yourself to get into a bidding war and end up winning and paying more then the actual auction item is worth.
