Anyone here bought referbish Apple Laptop from Apple store before ?

Please help my old man out. He ( somehow ) want a new laptop and this time he want Apple laptop. So the cheapest place I can find online is at refurbish Apple store. So my question is how good is their refurbish laptop ? I know their refurbish Ipod is good because Apple make it looks new.

Refurbished means basically they test everything and bring it back to fresh from the factory condition. No worries when buying one. If he is worried buy the apple care plan which is their extended warranty. It saved me from buying a new laptop so the $300 was worth it.
 
thanks but does it come with everything like the new one ? BTW how good is Apple laptop. My old man never use Mac before why he want to get one is beyond
me. I told him to try out at the store first but he only said " I'll learn " lol Oh well his money.

It'll come with the laptop and power adapter pretty much what it comes with when you buy a new one.

Apple's OS which is called OS X is simple to learn. Apple is very big on simplifying computers. So it'll be easy to learn.
For example in windows to remove a program you have to go to start-control panel - add/remove programs- find the program- and go through a ton of windows to un-install it.

With mac you click finder - library, and then drag the program to the trash bin.
Thats it, I like mac for its software namely its OS more then windows. Its nice, clean, and simple.

As far as quality Apple computers have the highest rating for quality and customer satisfaction according to consumer reports. From my personal experience they make great computers that last.
 
My bro got a refurb last year and it came with everything except the pretty white box. Don't worry you still get 2 fresh Apple stickers. :)
 
All of Apple's refurb stuff comes with everything they would new, just a different box that says refurbished on it.

As far as usability, Apple's great. Much simpler operating system, and the speeds are far better utilized on Macs.
 
I bought a refrub MBP last year everything comes with it that comes with a new one. Only difference is the box, its a plain brown one instead of a fancy one with apple logo and MBP pic on it.
