I have brown eyes, but would like to try blue out to see if I get a better reaction from the ladies. Do they work very well?

lieing to get ladies? C'mon man.

BTW, my friend has hook-ups with contacts so on halloween he has his eyes as big X's... that scared some kids.

How the hell is that lying? I'd never wear colored contacts myself, but I wouldn't judge someone for doing it. It's pretty much the same thing as putting gel in your hair, putting on makeup, whitening your teeth, or wearing a pushup bra. You don't go out with a girl and after seeing her without makeup say "OH MY GOD YOU LYING BITCH! You mean you don't have naturally perfect skin tones and blushy cheeks!"

Anyway, some people might think it's vain, but if you think you'd look better with blue eyes and it makes you feel better and more confident with the ladies, go for it. Who are we to judge what other people do for fun?

A friend of mine used to have both green and blue ones. You couldn't tell they weren't his natural color. It was definitely weird when he would wear one of each color.

People who were contacts but have perfect vision regardless are asses. Contacts suck ass.

My glasses > Contacts. :)
I love you, Mr. Gucci.
(Ok ok, so I'm not a cheapass. :( )

So tell me this then. Say some girl does fall in love with you, and comments "oh, I just love your (insert color here) eyes". Then one day she either sees you without your colored lenses or finds out that you wore different ones. She is then pissed that you had to hide your true eyecolor from her. It happens a lot as some girls are very shallow about things like that. Why would one feel the need to change their eyecolor just to try to pickup girls? Perhaps they should worry less about eyecolor and more about what the ladies really care about.

If a girl really loves you she shouldn't care what color your eyes are.

I could never try contacts, I'm not so keen on the idea of putting something directly on my eye to make me see better. I'd rather get the Lasik surgery to fix my eyes.

That option isn't available to everyone. The only corrective surgery I can get on my eyes = cornial transplants. No thanks.

I know, I'm just saying for me, that precedure is better than just switching to contacts from my glasses. Of course it'll be different for everyone.

True, but some girls are shallow.

Love? I just want some poon.

If you do get colored contacts, get a proper prescription from an eye doctor.

There are some sham stores that will sell you colored contacts without a prescription but those contacts can be dangerous to use. I saw this on a nightly news program. Unfortunately, this is still going on.

When I first got contacts I wore light blue tinted lenses... and I already have blue eyes. I'm not sure why I did that, I suppose I just wanted to see what it would look like. The lenses made my eyes a very light shade and it didn't look natural at all.

When I first got contacts I got bright blue ones... my real eyes are green/hazel. My guidance counselor thought they were real so.... But now I just wear regular ones.

Perhaps then you'd be better advised to stuff a rolled up sock down your pants. The color of the sock is of no matter unless you have a lucky color.

My friend used to wear these aqua contacts - they made his eyes look cool as hell.

Personally, I do't wear colored ones because they are too expensive for my prescription. Otherwise, I'd love to try some of the really crazy ones that make your eyes all black, or look like cat's eyes, etc.

Edit: like these: http://www.sporteyes.com/crazyeyes.htm

I wear bright blue ones, and i get compliments on them all of the time.
EDIT: Yesterday when I was at the flowershop this hot 20 year old chich told me "you have the prettiest blue eyes I have ever seen"

When, I was younger I wore blue eye contacts (my real eye color is brown). All the ladies said I had the prettiest blue eyes. It worked, but they are kind of not comfortable to wear. I just wear regular contacts now.

what color eyes do you have?

I've always had colored lenses because they're easier to see when I take them out & am cleaning them etc. I have kind of bluish/green eyes anyway (depends on who I ask) & I've always gone with blue or green contacts. I have mixed and matched before, but I don't recall anyone ever noticing. Never used them as a way to pick up chicks.
Do they affect your vision negatively at all? Can you see as well as with regular contacts?
I don't think they affect your vision at all.

I have blue contacts, and brown eyes. They are VERY bright when light shines on them, esp sun-light. They look unnatural (although they do make more natural looking ones)....but whenever you speak to someone they are always drawn to your eyes, and you always will have their complete attention if you get the more unnatural ones.

They shouldn't since you're only looking through the clear center area. The surrounding radius is there to give you something large enough to manipulate and goes over the corresponding colored area of your eyes. All the photonic action is in the pupils.
