Anyone know about this game?

I'm not into war games, so I don't know this one. My friend is hunting all over for a Combat Elite: Paratroopers for PS2. None of the biggies have it in stock, and there's none listed on ebay.

So, is this just a really rare great game? Or is this one of those okay games that my friend is being rabidly annoying about (it's been known to happen with other games). When did it come out? Anybody know anything about it?

Due to Acclaim's falling out with Battleborne (and Acclaim being closed), it was never released.

IGN says someone else nabbed the rights recently, though. http://ps2.ign.com/articles/622/622152p1.html It mentions a fall ship date.. for overseas. Nothing regarding US shores.

i don't think ive ever heard of it, but it has an average ranking of 62% on gamerankings.com
