I don't think that's possible unless the Laptop's hardware specifically supports HDMI INPUT (not output). I don't know of any laptops that do. What kind of laptop is it?

Don't you already have a 3D TV? Why on earth would you hook a PS3 to a laptop? They aren't really portable.
99% chance that it will not work.
Laptops video ports are almost always (of not 100% of the time) for OUTPUT. I've never seen a laptop with video INPUT.
What I have seen (and owned) is a video capture card for laptops; but even if you find a laptop video capture card with hdmi input; that card itself would have to support 3d, as well as the laptop.
Honestly, with the price that you'd pay (and hassle) for all this setup, you'd be better off buying a small (portability?) 3d TV.
