Anyone know when the HDD will be on sale till at CC?

I was thinking about getting the HDD if they have it in at CC but dont know when the sale is going to be over. So if anyone knows can they post here? Thanks!

is it worth it in your opinion? or should i buy a game instead? i wouldnt play FFXI though i just want the HDD.

You can't beat $37. I would say it's definately worth it. You could probably sell FFXI alone on eBay and make back at least $20, if not more.
 
ou do know its just a regular PC hdd, u just have to make sure the connectors on the network adapter line up, but there is a list of compatible hardrives on the net somewhere

Yeah, any IDE hard drive will work, but the maximum storage usage is 137GB, and for any non-Sony HDD you use, you'll need a HDLoader or HDAdvance which you may purchase over the internet. (I believe I'm forbidden from going any deeper into detail.)

lol, Anyway, the SOny one is 40GB, but it comes preloaded with FFXI, Tetra Master, and something else which takes up about 14GB. However, if you're not interested in playing FFXI, you can format the HDD with the software that comes with it and use all 40GB. And if you decide later on that you want to play FFXI, you can reinstall it with the FFXI discs that come with it.
