Anyone ordered a game from GoGamer.com before?

I placed an order for Gears of War PC 10 days ago and it still says processsing when I look at the order status. I sent them an email asking why it says processing still. They said sorry but we're trying to keep lots of orders shipped on time during the busy holiday season.

Seems to me if they wanted repeat business they'd hire extra temp help on the holidays like everyone else does. I don't think I've ever had to wait 10 days or more for an order to be shipped.

Has anyone here had any bad experiences with this vendor? I'm beginning to think I should have checked them out better but they are mentioned on the home page of CAG so I took a chance.

They are the only vendor I've seen that does not offer tracking for games shipped via their standard shipping. My account has not been charged yet though so I know it hasn't been shipped.

Patience is a virtue, especially when ordering stuff online, since many times the inventory counts may be way off and/or the place may be having trouble finding it in the first place.

I'd definitely shoot them an email within the next day or so to inquire about the order. If it's not at least 'sent to warehouse' or something like that within the next couple of days, I'd just cancel and try and find it cheaper elsewhere.

If you haven't yet used Google Checkout, you can get $10 off any one item that's in stock by signing up for it. But hurry up and do it soon, since I read on their(Googles Checkout info site)site that by next year, they will be charging a FEE to use it.

I have been using them for a long time, I never had any issues. I ordered the Command and Conquer Sage about 3 weeks ago and got it at the start of this week. I also got Quake Wars from them on black friday and got it a couple of days ago.

i ordered Tony Hawk from them on Black Friday. it arrived on Tuesday, which is 2 days or less, basically. 'course, that was the one and only time i've ordered from them. this was with "Dirt Cheap Shipping", by the way.

Used them many times over the years. Great place to find unique stuff, including imports. I think that GoW was an import. No surprise you have to wait. Of course, now its going on sale for $30 at BB next week I think, so I think you paid more and you'll have it later than you would have had if you just waited for the sale. Par for the course if you watch sales on PC games.

two wednesdays ago i ordered Gears of War for PC and the new Supreme commander expansion from them and on Monday I had it already, (keep in mind this was over the thanksgiving weekend) so i really had a great experience with them, plus $65 ($30 each plus $5 shipping) is a great deal for 2 games, i also got them shipped to Hawaii so the 4-5 days it took was really awesome.

Thanks for the replies guys. I HAVE sent them an email 1 week after ordering as mentioned and all they said was we're trying to ship lots of orders out on time this time of year. From most of your responses this would appear to be atypical of their service, it's been 11 days now and still the order says processing. I have emailed them again insisting they ship it or give me an explanation. The item still shows as in stock, ships within 24 hrs.

I gotta tell ya at this point it looks as if they don't value new customers all that much or see the need to communicate well when problems like this do happen. At this point the only consolation is they have not charged my card, but then again a cancelation option no longer appears on the order status page. Don't get me wrong, I'm not furious about this so much as confused and a bit worried.

BTW, sorry for posting in the wrong forum but thanks to those whom responded for not flaming about OT like the first two did. A simple mention of the proper forum to put it in would have sufficed and been more productive.;)

Sounds a little like a fluke.

I ordered ET:QW and Unreal Anthology early Friday during their BF deal and they shipped before the end of the day.
Granted they shipped media mail so it took a week to get to me.

They've finally now confirmed shipment 14 days after the order was placed. I live in NW USA and the item is a common one and listed as in stock, ships in 24 hrs. They did one small thing to make up for it and that was refund the low $2.59 shipping price to my card, which is less than I expected.

If it was already locked into standard shipping they should have at least credited the amount it would have cost to express ship it or better yet express ship it if possible. There's not been any tracking info other than indicating it's been shipped though so I'm not 100% sure they're still using standard shipping.

At any rate though despite this looking to be a fluke I can't say their communication or concern is equal to what others would show at times like this, so I may not patronize them any further.

Another place I just ordered from and got fast shipping besides Circuit City was JoellyJoel through Amazon.com. They had GRAW2 for about $16 and Republic Commando for about $14. The shipping was high at about $11 but they shipped next day, so I know there are others that do ship promptly on the holidays. Though the shipping was high the low prices ended up being about the same as buying just GRAW2 in a local store, so I pretty much got Republic Commando free.
