Anyone think the core looks better than the premium?

Obviously we know which is the better value, but I just think that chrome looks cheesy and it looks kind of screwy when put with some of the faceplates. I wish they would have made them the same and just packed in the extra stuff for the more expensive model.

I agree. I like the look of the core system more. I came very close to just picking up a core and buying my accesories seperate, but no one locally had HDDs for sale so I went with the premium.

I liked the white alot more then the chrome, It was also alot easier to paint too. The 360 looks good in Black. I picked up the Core system and just got the accessories separate. I don't know about other people but I prefer to have the wired controllers too. Don't have to worry about replacing batteries and I could use them on my PC.

I don't know, I have a core (with the extras) and I always thought it looked like a demo unit or a dev. system. Maybe it's the fact that it's all this dull white color, like an unpainted model - but maybe that's on purpose as motivation to buy faceplates?

The core looks better, however the harddrive is accented in crome as well so if you ever upgraded the core system it'd still have the same tacky look as the premium does. They should've made the separate accesory HDDs entirely in the same dull gray kind of color that the side of the system is.

I tend to agree. I've never understood why people care about how their consoles look. As long as it plays the games I want it to play, it can look however Microsoft wants it to look.

I dont really see the big deal but I like that mine has a "chrome finish", it also wouldnt have bothered me if it didnt. I've never been happier with a system like I have with the 360.

I really didnt care what it looked like, I just want mine back from the "repair center." Its a lot easier to justify spending 400 when you get instant gratification. I was not able to get that as when I set it up and went to play a brand new game it wouldnt read. I really wish I had it.
