To me it tasted like carbinated coffee. I didn't mind it too much, but it will not be my drink replacement.

I've had it, and I HATED it. It tasted like stale watered down soda with a splash of coffee thrown in. Gross.

Picked up a 12 pack out of curiousity yesterday but have yet to try it out. They had Stawberry/Cream and also a Black Cherry/Vanilla flavor. Im a sucker for trying new things when they come out. Oh yeah, I though the Blak drink was gross. I will stick with Mountain Dew Amp for my energy needs.

I bought the new pepsi (pepsi jazz, its just "special" flavors) at Shaw's yesterday, and the black cherry french vanilla one tasted just like wild cherry pepsi, the strawberry flavor was kick ass.

oh and if you want the experience of drinking coke blak without buying it, have a friend shit in a bottle, and put some club soda in and shake it all up.

I had it, wasted 2.50 on it. Tasted like flat coke with coffee. The bubbles/carbination tasted like milk bubbles too... it was odd and gross.

Didn't taste too bad to me, but I tend to like European things.
Back in the summer of 2005 I was at a Florida Marlins game and they were handing free mini-bottles of this out at the exits. A hurricane was just about to hit (small one) and the rain had just started. The promoters who were all pretty young begged people to take as many as possible. I was led to the truck where they gave me two cases of the mini-bottles. I had enough free Coke Black in my dorm room to feed myself and friends for two weeks. It tasted pretty good! Check the picture below for proof (albeit a bit blurry).

I love it. Such a shame it cost alot. Or else I would always keep my fridge stocked with it.

Friend of mine worked at Coke as a CS rep so he gave me a bottle of the stuff a few weeks early so I could try it out, if I hadn't been in a Borders in front of a magazine rack I would have spit it out on the spot. Taste exactly like someone tried to make coffee and mixed it with Coke, putrid as hell.
