I got one of these for xmas the year before last, and recently I've been making tons of beef jerky. You can buy the spices and stuff online, and then you buy 3 lbs of ground beef, and you get 1.5 pounds of really good beef jerky. If you're a guy who likes his jerky, you'll save tons of money doing this and you get a better quality product. Anybody else do this?

I also plan on buying a juicer in the future (probably the Jack Lelaine huge opening one). Anybody have any juicer experience?

I used to make jerky and stuff for when I would go camping/hiking/climbing. The stuff you can make yourself is WAY superior to the stuff you can buy in a store.

its even better if you get a meat slicer and use a roast and slice it thin and make jerky out of that. dont get me wrong the ground dried jerky is good but muscle meat is better.
