Anyone wanna help me think of an idea to get a cheap ps3

Okay so i have 2 xbox 360s. one is an elite. The other is a 60gb xbox 360. I know that dell online store can get me 60 dollars off of the ps3 but i want it for cheaper. Do you think any game stores would trade an elite for a ps3? Anyone got any ideas. Thanks in advance.

Sell it on eBay if you can stand the fees. If not put it on craigslist. Probably not the 80GB version, to be honest you'd be lucky if they gave you enough for the 40GB version what with the recent price drops.

No store is going to give that much credit on a trade in. You'll be lucky to get 50% of their used selling price, which is hardly enough to cover a the costs of a used/new PS3.

You can try and list it on Craigslist for a direct trade, I'm sure someone will bite.

hopefully the prices drop soon i think ill go to gamestop and play n trade and see if i can get a good price. and see if my friend at gamestop can get me a discount

You might wanna sell it fast on ebay. The cashback just dropped from 30% to 25%.

I got a PS3 on eBay for $310. Two months later, I will get $93 back. You can get $3 back if you join bigcrumbs.com.

Go to live.com, search for wii, go to ebay, then go to bigcrumbs, go to ebay, search for ps3, and you are on your way to getting about $95 back in about 2 months.

Oh, btw, it is a used PS3. Not new. New ones generally go for $380+ before cash back.

You could do what I did and buy cheap DVD boxsets in mint condition, then wait for the FYE 20% extra brown bag trade deal and trade them in then for about $15-20 each, then use that credit to offset some of the cost of the PS3.

You could also check the Blockbuster/Gamerush thread and start flipping games back and forth between Gamestop and Blockbuster to get enough credit to buy one of the remaining 40 models. The 40 gb models have been slashed to $360 NEW at Blockbuster, but they ARE hard to find since it is ANOTHER discontinued SKU.
