Ok I have Wal Marts Allocation list for the next 4 weeks.

WM Week 45(week of Dec.3)
9500 Units
Avg:3 units per store

Week 46(week of Dec 10)
27000 Units
Avg:9 per store

Week 47(week of Dec 17)
35000 units
Avg:11 per store

Week 48(week of Dec 24)(Tuesday after Xmas most likely)
24000 Units
Avg:8 per store

Also Im 98% sure these will be shipped UPS/FedEx and received during the early afternoon. If that changes I will update.

At least gives you an idea of what to expect.
 
From my experience I would say on Tuesday or Wednesday.

All the stores I have worked in here in Houston those direct delivery arrives around 10-11 AM. If for some reason they ship on a WM warehouse truck I will let you know.

Just trying to help some fellow gamers out.

No thats what sucks. They didnt break it down between the two sku's.

Hopefully tomorrow I can check my PI system at work and see what my store is getting. That should give me an idea if this is combined or core/premium separate.

Also, do you know if it's possible to spot any UPS/FedEx trucks at Wal-Mart? I've never been there and plan to sit outside at a bench or something and wait from about 10am-1pm to see if anything happens.

Usually show up behind the store on the GM side.(non food)
 
How does the process work? i.e. the boxes are taken off the truck....etc.

It would be painful to see a shipment of consoles come in at noon and have to wait another day for them to put them on the shelves to sell tomorrow.

Dept 5(electronics) are processed first for new releases and high security items(only RX takes priority). They usually then call Dept 5 to comr get their cart.

Be nice to the people and ask when their directs usually arrive. When you get that info just call or arrive around that time and ask if its in yet.

I wish I knew when these stores in Dallas were getting them, the employees are pretty shitty around here. Except for one at a store I visited last week, there was a guy who didn't have any new info but he was an extremely helpful employee.
 
Now this is funny because it looks like the only two places to get this for Christmas will be Wal-Mart and Bestbuy. Hey, I won't be getting one for a while because of my funds going toward the holidays but its good to see that at least some people will be able to get it sooner then later.
 
Just called two walmarts that were close to me and they said they didn't have anything in and that I should check tomorrow. Hopefully they have something in by then.

Thanks for the heads-up! I called 2 Wal-marts near me (in MD) and they both said they're expecting a direct shipment around 10-11 tomorrow. They wouldn't guarantee 360's would be on them but both confirmed that there is a weekly allocation schedule and one of them said it would be a good idea to drop by around 2 tomorrow!!!
 
Just called a third walmart to see if they would have any tomorrow and they said that they would get the next shipment in january?! I guess some people are just not up to date I guess.
 
This still makes it very tough but at least there's hope... too bad I'm at work all day and can't get to a Walmart...

Some electronics associate at my Walmart said they won't be getting any more for 9-12 months. Talk about being out of the loop.

When ever you mention "internet" or "online" to a B&M retailer, you pretty much lose all credibility with them.
 
Yeah, I called my Wal-Mart, they said January, I then mentioned the allocation schedule and he freaked out on me. He said something like "WELL THAT'S WHAT THEY TOLD US, ALRIGHT!?!!?!". I'll check them out tomorrow.

Sorry guys no update today though my store did receive some HDD's,controllers and a shitload more games.

Game shipments usually come in on Tue-Thur. so keep the faith. I do have the actual document in front of me but dont want to scan it and post it. Its states "Wal mart STores Inc. CONFIDENTIAL". DOnt want to get myself or anyone else in any hot water.

These are just for Wal Mart,not Sams.

I can do a 150 mile radius stock search on anything. I do a daily search to see if someone around me has received any yet but a no go so far.

So basically what your saying is have a crew outside the store every day in the afternoon to intercept the UPS/FedEx guy?

Did a search for the CT area and no go. Everything still shows 0 on order/wherehouse/transit etc. Although the comac said to check this week... wierd. Well since I work on the weekdays I'll be jumping on one come 15 minute break unless the word gets out...
 
hey could you do a check for southeaster michigan? Would be great to get some info on if we are getting some more 360s here.

Still nothing. One of the Item #'s even comes up not in the system (the premium) while the core's show none on order or on hand. Im starting to wonder how the 360's are trickling into other Wal-Marts? Returns? Considering we had one I don't doubt it.

Edit: NM didn't read the allocation list, now I get a better idea.
 
Called two walmarts again to see if they had anything, one of them said they got 5 in and sold out within an hour and the other said they didn't get any in yet.

Thnaks again DX. I'm gonna run around to a couple of the 6 Walmarts that are in Erie, PA. Hopefully they get them in and I get lucky enough to scoop one up. I for one can't wait to play COD2.

I stuck around for about 30 minutes this morning, they started to get suspicious, so I left.
