Yeah DX, nada.

Rest assured I've been working 8-5 and 12-9, so I see the directs shipments as soon as they come in. Unless they are sending these overnight and/or on weekends they won't sneak by me.

They would've given me the same bullshit as before. You know: "I don't know" "January/February/March/April/May" "Maybe before Christmas" "Bend over and grab the astro glide". I'm going to check them and Target out tomorrow morning before I goto work. I'll try to find a manager and ask him/her. The other employees cannot be trusted.
 
So, there was nothing going on at Target, Wal-mart said they hadn't received their second shipment yet, and something sketchy is going on at Toys R Us.

News for Walmarts sister compnay Sam's Club.

My Sams Club just as of today has 16 Xbox 360 Bundles on Order. Usual time from Order Date to get onhand takes about 7 days. The 15th-16th they should be in the club. Call your Local Sams Club and ask them to run the item number to see if they have any on order.
 
Man, where the hell are the 360s this week? I thought it would be Tuesday-Thursday, but i'm still getting the bullshit *Next Year* from employees. Sounds like they are holding it back to compete with Best Buy on the 18th.

So any news from you people that work there?

Im fucking irritated to all hell.

I still have the memo in front of me with these allocation dates and amounts..I used the store managers hotline to contact the dept 5 buyer and ask what the hell is going on. They are supposed to respond within 24 hours but its been 72 and nada.

Two conslusions I can come up with:

1)They felt the first weeks allocations "3 per store on average
was just not worth the shipping charges and it will be combined with the second weeks allotment.

2)Basically what you stated about the BB date. WM has been stating this whole holiday season how they are losing electronic marketshare to BB and wanted to get it back. Why WM doesnt just use some of its clout to get a nice size shipment from MS is beyond me.

I do apologize people. This is the info I had and posted. I am in the same boat as the rest of you waiting for the next shipment to get myself a system.
 
Both of those theories make a lot of sense. Thanks a lot for posting what you know. I would much rather have the most probable "insider" information to act on than nothing at all.

All of your efforts are much appreciated. From my perspective, I would prefer to have a cloudy picture of what's going on over randomly dropping into Wal-Mart every so often on the whimsical hope that I might just wander in at the right time.
 
Another Update. Sure its a five day period But Sam's Club will be getting them between the 15th and 20th. Not sure the exact date but if I find out ill let everyone know.
 
I caved in and bought my bundle off CC despite the fact I could be getting 20% off the system this week. But my extra 10% off runs out on the 15th and I did searchs on the console numbers, and we have 0 on order still :( If i get a chance to pick one up, its probably going on eBay to see if I can make up a profit for the console I just spent my money on... (yeah im evil)

Ive considered the same thing but with my luck the day after I buy one somewhere else they will finally show up. Im holding out for at least this week.

But Ive got a 20% off incentive as a reason to hold off. If it wasnt for that I would have used that money elsewhere.

Ok guys I have some new updates.

I was wrong and they are not doing drop shipments as stores,rather they are coming on the WM warehouse truck.

Now most stores trucks arrive at 4PM and the unloaders start unloading them at that time. So they could arrive on the floor anywhere from 4PM-1AM usually.

ALso another side note: I called my wife at her store to check on what they were exopecting. She scanned the item number and it said 6 on order which should mean they were at the warehouse waiting to be loaded. 2 days beofre it arrives it will be in the "In warehouse" column. The day it is scheduled to arrive it will be "In transit".

Here is the odd thing,they had 3 cases of premiums show up Wednesday night.

I dont understand what happened or why all I know is she woke me up at 2AM screaming "OMG!Look what I got!"

I love her to death. ;)

I hope this info can help anyone who hasnt got one yet and I will continue to post any updates I come across.
 
It appears like every Wal-Mart within a 50 mile radius of me has none, nor did they receive shipments this week.

This a YMMV thing?

Nope. Company wide allotment.

Get the WM item numbers from page 1 of this thread and ask domeone at your local WM to enter it into the SMART system to get what amount they are getting.
