The Morgan Sperlock show on FX. I've been watching it every week, and it's pretty good. The episode with the straight conservative guy living with the gay guy is just finishing up, and its probably the best one yet. Really good stuff.

Anyone else watch?

I like the first two so far they have a deeper meaning then some reality show.

The first one when they lived on minimum wage. Was awesome It showed the government that they should raise min wage and national health care is a must. And The first episode they were in ohio. They actually made it look nice. Ohio looks worse then that in most lower class places. Psst I live in one.

I liked the 2nd one as well, it helped kill a lot of stereotypes against muslims. I am not one However I get tried of racist ass people talking all this shit about stuff they don't know. You here it a lot from the rednecks, "damn tally-band all of them are in on it" Oh really how do you know and in on what?. "Why else would they be here" that shit pisses me off.
It amazes me how people go they shouldn't be here. Hello melting pot. Only one type of people is from here meaning North America. So if you want to be racist hate everyone and you should hate yourself the most if you are.

I have been watching and think it is pretty good. A very interesting concept. FX really has some good stuff. The Sheild, Nip Tuck, 30 Days, and this new show Over There I am really psyched about.

Me too. I'd also suggest his new book which a more in depth look at the politics of fast food and is just as good as Fast Food Nation.

I missed out on the first two, so I downloaded them, but have yet to watch them. Thankfully, a friend reminded me to watch this week's episode right before it was starting. It's amazing how ignorant people can be... Excellent episode.

From here:

Two 30-year-old professionals who are friends and typical Americans—i.e., ravenous consumers of fossil fuels such as gas and electricity—go ‘back to the future’ and learn to live without the natural resources that will be depleted from our earth in the not-too-distant future. To do this they’ll uproot themselves and move to an ‘eco village’ in Missouri to live 100% OFF THE GRID. As they set up house in a former 3,000 bushel grain bin, they will sustain themselves on a clean power such as solar and wind, recycle all their waste (both food and human), live in a car-free culture, grow and eat only organic foods and conserve their water use with solar showers and rain-catch systems. Can these fossil fuel addicts wean themselves from their consumptive habits without their lives falling apart? Will they thrive in a community that is the total opposite their New Jersey neighborhood? And will the ecological solutions they learn stick once their Thirty Days are up?

Jesus Christ, listen to the summary for ep 6:

A mother concerned about her daughter’s alcohol consumption now that she is in college agrees to binge drink for 30 Days to try to get through to her. In a booze-drenched Freaky Friday scenario, the daughter will see her mother drunk, vomiting, and hung over as she makes decisions about the tough social choices she faces every day in college. The mother, on the other hand, will become more aware of the enormous social culture pressure to drink that faces kids every day of their college careers.

I enjoy this show very much, but catch myself hoping that Morgan would be a more active participant. Obviously this would change the complexity of the show, but he comes off as very sincere and compelling on camera. I cannot say that about some of the others that have been on the show.
I really like this show. It's probably my second favorite show that has new episodes during the summer.
I would have to say Entourage is my favorite, then this, and I am sure that Over There is going to be good. Family Guy is pretty hilarious also.

I knew nothing about this show till i saw that Morgan guy on a rerun of the daily show the other day. I downloaded the first episode and got hooked. I liked all of them so far, everyone i've mentioned the show to has no idea what i'm talking about so i've turned them onto the episodes. Many a discussion has been sparked from these shows.

The last episode was my least favorite, sadly only one episodes remains for this season... Drunken mommy.

I like this show too. I seen all of the episodes so far. I like the way they can possibly open up people's minds.

What did you guys think about the car running on french fry oil?(the last episode) I though that was kinda cool, same with the water car. I can't wait for nip/tuck to start & to check out the new show Over There.
