Please let Braid go on sale. I guess it is too soon for Perfect Dark to be cheap but it would be a nice surprise.

Since silver members get gold members' benefits, does that mean I won't have to upgrade to buy Geometry wars at a discount? ;)

I guess we'll find out... I still have another 1 month free card left.

Last time I used a 1 month card to buy 'Splosion man, I did not even play any games on Xbox Live.

Well, Geometry Wars is a great way to start April. I hear Defense Grid is good, too. It's been a while since I've bought an arcade game (slowed down since it started trending to 1200 as the base price).

Same for me. 800/400 was the sweet spot.

the sad thing is that they don't even realize how much extra money they will be making if they allow silver members to get in on XBL DotW

truth be told I have zero interest in multi-player gaming unless its couch co-op with a friend so I don't subscribe to XBL Gold but I'd still like to cash in on a random DotW here and there but am not given the oppourtunity

plus I'm not going to pay $5/month to possibly take advantage of these deals which may or may not appeal to me each month

hopefully they wise up and make you pay for XBL Gold which grants multi-player gaming/early demo access but let XBL Silver members access everything else

Updated main post with ten (count 'em -- TEN) games on sale April 1st. Hopefully it is not a joke ...

And yes, Silver members can participate in the deals starting on April 1st.

Hmm... I'm either picking up Geometry Wars 2 or Rocket Riot. I thoroughly enjoyed the Rocket Riot demo, but thought 800 pts was too much. 400 is just right though!

Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved 2 90
Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix 88
Defense Grid: The Awakening 82
Rocket Riot 80
Lumines Live! 77
Age of Booty 76
Wallace & Gromit's Grand Adventures Ep 1: Fright of the Bumblebees 73
South Park Let's Go Tower Defense Play 72
Schizoid 68
Track & Field 63
Mad Tracks 62

Probably getting rocket riot and Geometry Wars.
Maybe Lumines Live!

for anyone who loves the tower defense genre...defense grid is the way to go...great all around game and easily worth its initial $10 asking fee...for $5 its a no brainer

Picked up South Park Rocket Riot and Defense Grid. Stuck on all three but think all three are worth the 400. I'd recommend Defense Grid for sure and at least trying Rocket Riot out. South Park I like probably because of the show and haven't played it as much as the others.
I'd hold off on Lumines Live! if you like it and think you'll want the dlc. You can get a disc most dlc on it, Rez, and Every Extend Extra Extreme for around 15 - 17 if you wanted. Disc is called Qubed.

+1.
I took a shot on it when it 1st came out and liked it.
Really good game.
Theirs even demo if you're not sure!

I recommend Geometry Wars 2 to everyone. It is a technical masterpiece and one of the most addictive games I've ever played. I bought dozens of games from XBL Arcade and Geometry Wars 2 was easily the best one of them all.

Top notch graphics rendered at 1080p, mindblowing music that is unique to each of the 6 game modes, and it is all topped up with a healthy serving of 4 player couch co-op/versus.

I got Rocket Riot and Age of Booty - I already had GW2.
Rocket Riot is fun and very pick up and play. Plus it's silly - my boy started laughing with the sports ball powerup.

I've seen it at Walmarts rack of discounted games a few times.

Updated main post -- some of the new deals are now live. "Left 4 Dead Crash Course" is showing the sale price, but "The Maw" is still 800 points.

Interestingly, "Age of Booty" from the inventory blow-out sale is still showing 400 points while all the rest are back to normal.

Edit -- I guess "The Maw" is Japan only, we only get the "Left 4 Dead" content.

I think it's worth the sale price, but not the 560 I spent a couple months ago on it.

considering it myself. IGN gave the DLC a score of 8.0, but reader scores float around a low low 2.6.

this content is free for PC gamers, and survival pack :)360:) was also free. why this is 'on sale' for $4 is beyond me. just make it free.

I saw a used copy of Qubed at BBV for $19.99 if you're interested.. I think you're in KW? PM me if you want the location.

I bought The Dishwasher at launch and I still play it at least once or twice a month.
Uber-challenging and often unforgiving but a blast nonetheless.
