I went into my local Best Buy today (Rockaway, NJ) to pick up Scarface and when I passed by the TV on Blu section they had Season 1 of Archer for $39.99. It's not much of a "deal," as the hand-written sales tag on the shelf had it at Best Buy's sticker price, but I felt it deserved a post since there is no news of this anywhere of this and I can't seem to find it anywhere online (Bestbuy.com & Blu-ray.com do not list it at all). All of the copies had a "Best Buy Exclusive" sticker on them so I assume it'll be a while before it shows up at any other store. The next season hasn't really premiered.

Right now there is just a 3 week, 3 episode mini-movie on fx & then its back on hiatus until its normal slot after The League & Sunny end their seasons.
 
I might order for in-store pickup in the case that they run out, but I'm definitely using my $5 rewards credit for this!

In any case I'll be picking it up at the Mayfair BB.... oh, and Go Brewers!
 
Any word on whether this is an upgrade in quality?

I still have the season 1 DVD sealed on my shelf.

Yep, shortly after I posted that I got an email saying it was ready for pickup. That was 11:45 at night.

No worries. The Best Buy is a block from my house.
 
So tempting but having the DVD already for $10 it's not worth it to spend another $15 for the blu-ray.

I hate double dipping but I'm going to have to bite on this one, one of my favorite new shows and I love me some blu.
