Are Adam Sandler and Seth Rogen really in the same movie?

 I saw that preview tonight.
I guess it makes sense. I mean, good ideas eventually run out. This is why movies, games, TVs, and music just...kinda blow anymore.

I thought it was pretty decent myself. Story seemed just right.
Why are you hating on Adam Sandler? Seth Rogen is okay but Adam is good.
He hasn't had a funny movie in 10 years.

This movie isn't entirely all "funny." The extended trailer that's been running since February on Universal HD and HDNet didn't focus as much on the comedy, but the story surrounding Sandler and a disease/affliction he is suffering.

Yeah, for anybody who hasn't been paying attention, Adam Sandler has been trying to do movies that have a point ever since 50 First Dates (Zohan not withstanding...but everyone needs to go "ahhhhh!!!" every once in awhile). Look at Spanglish, Click, Reign Over Me, and even Bedtime Stories. He's about to turn 43 years old. It would be sad to see him still lighting bags of poop on fire and chasing invisible penguins.

I think this movie looks great. I've been anticipating it for like 8 months now.

^yes

Oy... Let me guess you think Ben Stiller is funny too.

I'm looking forward to this. I've generally liked Apatow's movies and Rogan in them. I like Sandler in Dramedies like Punch Drunk Lover and Spanglish, so I'm hoping this turns out well.
Punch Drunk Love is the only good Sandler movie.

If Funny People is anything like that, I'm in.
I think Reign Over Me was a damn good flick as well. If you haven't seen it, give it a watch

Adam Sandler has done nothing but make shitty movies for as long as I can remember. Seth Rogen is pretty much never funny.

It must be difficult to sit and type with that stick up your ass.

I agree. I really liked Reign over Me.

The facts have to be faced. Unfortunately, he will never make another Happy Gilmore.

Yes, because anyone who doesn't find either of these hacks funny must have a stick up their ass. Great logic there. You should teach a class.

I'm a fan of both Rogen and Sandler, but most of Sandler's recent movies have been nowhere near as funny as two of his early classics - Billy Madison and Happy Gilmore. Rogen seems to be pretty decent in most of his movies, though they are not all great and I don't think he can carry a movie on his own.

Me throwing my opinions at people who don't want them is no different from you throwing yours around. You don't want to hear my bullshit, and I don't want to hear yours. If you don't like Sandler or Rogen, fine...don't see the fucking movie. But don't hand down your personal beliefs like they're scientific fact. It's probably impossible for you to wrap your brain around, but some people might actually disagree with you.

His response to you was unwarranted to a degree, but everyone gets tired of blowhards on forums who have to state their opinions as fact and otherwise in a generally assholish manner.

I mean is it that hard to say something less abrasive like "I have no interest in the movie as I don't care for Sandler or Rogan."

Who cares? You got the point. He doesn't like the two actors. Why do you care how he typed it? also i dont care who you are seth rogan sucks big fuckin balls. just terribly terribly unfunny. he tries so hard and i think thats why you guys like him, but he's terrible. Adam Sandler is actually funny.

You guys are overlooking the fact that this is a Judd Apatow written and directed movie, not some Adam Sandler, Chuck and Larry wannabe. Sandler and Apatow were actually college roommates at USC. This will be a great one, mark my words, but for very different reasons than Billy Madison, Happy Gilmore or even Punch Drunk Love (a personal fave of mine, but is in a field of its own).

Also people like the hate on Rogen a lot. Say whatever you want, but the man is a master of improv (along with many others in the Apatow crew)
