are games now refundable purchased from EB to gamestop?

say if you just wanted to make a return (refund) or have a defective copy can they be returned to gamestop if purchased from EBgames or vise versa?

Unless, the Gmaestop has switched over to the POS 2.3 system that Gamestop has rolled out. Most stores do not have these yet, and you MAY be able to return it if the manager is cool. But I would call ahead IF i WAS YOU.

so when are they suppose to be officially intact with the policies, discount cards then? Also I tried using my EB discout at gamestop blah they didn't except it.

Gamestops can't accept EB returns unless they have their POS system.

Gamestops CAN take Edge Cards. There is a discount under the F7 menu that says "Edge Card 10% off"

If a GS employee tells you that they can't take it, call them on their bullshit and tell them it's in the F7 menu.

I just returned an EB purchase to a GS yesterday, so whether they have the correct system must vary from store to store.

yup. most GS stores wont get the updated EB POS systems until later this year.

Doesn't matter if they are on the new or old POS. All GS stores can take edge cards, not sure about the other way around though.
