I always read they were free. I need one but I cant find a form or anything on microsofts xbox site on how to get one.

Well shit, guess Im going to have to buy one on ebay now. I always meant to get one but kept forgetting.

I think they are around $13.00 shipped from Microsoft at least you would be getting a new "Microsoft" branded one that way.

It is $14.99 + 4.99 shipping now:

I contacted them via Twitter a few weeks ago and they told me I had one of the old kits (only can do 20gb to 120gb). So they sent me that link. I passed on it and luckily they announced the Flash Drive support about a week later so I'll probably just use my 32gb Flash Drives to transfer everything over from my 120 to the 250 I have now.
Don't they always, do that?
Just look at that free 1 month of Gold thing. Some people got upwards of 50 codes!

Oh, and the USB drives only work up to 16GB ones.

Do the systems that have the 250 gig drive have that cable? I'm thinking about getting the splinter cell system to replace my 5 year old system that just rrod. I did the math and it isn't much more then if I buy an arcade system, the 250 gig hdd and the game. I think it came out to 13 bucks or so less not including tax. With the system I also get another controller but if I have to buy the transfer cable I'm not really sure now.
The systems don't... the 250gb HDD by itself does.
That sucks. Now I really don't know what I want to do. The Arcade system and 250gb HDD would be 329.98 before tax. If I knew I would get the Splinter Cell 360 from Walmart with the site to store it would be a little more then that and I would get an extra controller and game. Then all I would need to do is pay for the cable.
