are we getting the Zelda Gold DS Lite bundle?

I will be getting one (for myself).

I've heard it comes out this weekend, and I expect it will be readily available for X-mas. It is one sexy handheld.

On a side note: I will soon have a used Black DS Lite and a sealed copy of Phantom Hourglass available.
 
i'm just wondering if its been confirmed for a canadian release, if not i might have to get my friend to help me grab one on black friday

It's not expensive... I want to say $139? EB has it in their system (I think 23rd-25th), so it is coming here.
 
am I missing something or is that only an off coloured ds with three triangles on it. maybe I'm not a zelda fanboy.

Did you go to the US today? I talked to one of the EB managers today and he said it was pushed back to the 30th.
 
Too bad Zelda Phantom Hourglass sucks. Just warning people ahead of time before they play it... the backtracking in the game should be illegal.

The above is merely one person's opinion. Phantom Hourglass was by no means "epic", but it definitely did not suck.
 
a friend of mine was camped outside circuit city, she scored me a bundle for $140+tax, i just need to throw in shipping and a few dollars for her time and i'm set :)

Edit: my local EB hadn't even heard of it, i just assumed we weren't getting it and asked my friend to help me out, now is as good a time as any to upgrade

That is exactly what I heard. It looks like Friday, but whether it will be there on Friday, or ship Friday I don't know. Either way, I'll be getting one this weekend.
 
Just got my Gold one, and wow. They stopped using the bad screens, and it's a wonder.

You don't know how good it is to see those screens after having a dim-screened Crimson DS Lite for the last three months.
 
I work as a merchandiser for Futureshop and just to confirm the Futureshop on Queensway just got it (grand opening today! Busy as Hell!) on shelves. I'm sure it's up everywhere else, we received at least a few dozen.
 
Got mine today and very happy. Now I just need to get my hands on that Master Sword stylus they've got at Futureshop (or the gold plated one they had a while back).

Side note to Firestorm: I see you're a Fido specialist... any word on a decent data plan coming soon (I'm thinking about an iPhone)?

I actually for another company representing Fido, so I have no really inside stuff, but don't bet on it =/ Rogers seems to want to keep all the business dealings (main use with regards to data) under Rogers itself, even though it owns Fido so I don't think they'd really let Fido do anything crazy. The best they have is the $5 a month for 12 MB of data (50% off) with purchase of 3G phone on a 3 year term.

So not for an iPone =( And I assume you mean you have an unlocked one? Rogers (and if Fido gets it, Fido) won't be getting it for a while. Apple's concentrating on countries with larger populations than ours for now.
