You NEED to vote. If you don't you're just disenfranchising yourself. Damn, I'm in Texas right now and I voted for Kerry, even though Bush is assured a win. It's about the principle man!

/end rant

If you get an absnatee ballot, then you can take that in and vote early. Personally, I like to say this is our year to all the bush supports as I would to the voting line.

Some counties have opened voting since last week. I voted over the weekend which is great because I now don't have to wait in 4 hour lines on Tuesday. But, it based on your county.

Basically they had early polling stations et up throughout the county because the wait to vote on election day would be too great.

People were waiting 3 hours just so they could vote early. Luckily there was a polling station on campus and I cast my vote within 15 minutes

Cool, I need to find a polling station to go to. I know my school was registering people for the election, would they have a polling station there?

You have first find out if you county is doing early elections. But, schools are a good place to check. I went to my local library for my early vote

I got in on the early voting last week. We still have the punch cards here in my county. Weren't they supposed to get rid of those after the hanging chad fiasco of the last election? Either way, it was nice to vote without any lines.....

You shame Brooklyn with such a comment.

I don't fucking care if you don't like Bush or Kerry. You need to vote, even if you write in vote. You know why?

This shows politicians that there are people out there who are not satisfied.
This shows that there viable group of people that they will try to get during the next election.

I come from a long line of political activists. My family worked hard to try to bring about social freedoms in our home country. I have uncles who have been tortured and spent time in jail just to attempt to have the ability to vote for our leaders. They tell me stories of the president winning elections with 100% of the vote and people being beaten, losing their jobs just for thinking about supporting the oppostion. Alot of my family had to leave or be killed.

I know in this country, vote or die sounds silly and cliche, especially when its coming from Puffy's mouth. However that statement is true.

I was going to vote, but I moved to canada (for college) and didn't realize the registration deadline had passed. Though I'm not that upset, Kerry (like gore did) is expected to get arond 70% of the vote in massachusetts.

I'll break it down for you:

If you feel America needs more guns, corporate tax loopholes, and Jesus, but less gays, abortions, and presidential press conferences, vote BUSH.
We eliminated the chad thing in Florida. All electronic voting here
Cool, now to prevent fraud the DIEBOLD CEO will tell us who won after he reads the secret rsults and then deletes them.
