Aria of Sorrow/Harmony of Dissonance 2-Pack for $29.99 at Gamestop (Pre-order)
People who want games just because they are rare are ridiculous.

Konami is realizing that people want to PLAY their games, so they are rereleasing them.
NO , Konami is realizing that people want to BUY their games, so they are rereleasing them.

I'll believe it when I see it. I sold some of my MegaMan games a while ago when MegaMan Collection for GBA was announced and that never came out. Still pissed about that one.

Even if not true, I'm sure glad that I put my sealed AoS on ebay. Bought it when it came out but forgot that it was there. The other day I was just browsing Ebay when I see that this game is fetching an insane price, so why not sell it. If anyone is willing to pay that much for it then I'm not going to let that go.

It's best to hold off as long as possible on selling the originals. I'm not sure if their value will decrease too drastically, because the originals have their own box, artwork and books - I think they will still hold a high value to collectors.
You also won't be able to get the little shop doll in Dawn of Sorrow with the reissue!
And to the poster who was pissed about this making his games worthless - hate to break it to ya, but your Suikoden 2 value is gonna drop like a rock too when the S1/S2 double-pack hits for the PSP. :p
Except Konami's confirmed that the Suikoden I/II PSP is NOT coming out here.

And to be fair, they said Megaman keeps getting pushed back because they're having some kind of problem converting/porting them or something. AoS/HoD are staying on the same system, so it should be no problem at all.

True, but I doubt Konami will stay like that for very long. They are releasing Suikoden V (announced for US release shortly after it's original announcement) and Tactics (coming out this year), after all. So, they can't say that Suikoden is popular enough to warrant I&II for the PSP over here.

Hopefully it'll be 2 seperate cartridges and not a combo pack. Don't the originals unlock content on the DS game? If it were a combo pack the individual games may not be recognized by Dawn of Sorrow

Most likely 1 cartridge. As far as Dawn of Sorrow linkage, you just get something extra early, but you can still get it without linkage later on

This is cool, but I am worried that I am going to dislike the way the box art will look. I guess I will wait and just pick off the originals sometime.
This was worth the repost, I would've NEVER EVER seen it in whatever thread it was in, THANKS OP!
Same here! Thanks for the info OP! I borrowed the those two from friends, but I wouldn't mind owning them for $30 total! ^_^

Same here, almost every one of the two games in one boxes look like crap. But, I have a feeling that Konami will make a good box for this.

I already have AoS but I'll pick this up if it's 19.99 since for some reason I never bought CHoD. Just think with this cart and DoS in our gba's...THATS 3 CASTLEVANIAS IN ONE SYSTEM AT ONE TIME!!! CASTLEVANIA OVERLOAD!!!!!

I'm a little bit mad they're cutting out the shop doll. Personally I don't see the reason for it and it kind of dampens my desire to get it. Now about the only reason I'll get it is for HOD new. I really RESENT when companies censor a game like that. This is why I bought the Japanese version of "Illbleed" over the American one.
edit: OH! It's a link bit. Kinda dumb Konami couldn't replicate for DoS on this one.

Hopefully they'll let Kojima draw something original.

i have aria sealed (bought one, played and beat, sold it, regretted it, bought another one) and I'm glad they're re-releasing it. Its a great game and anyone that hasn't played it should have a chance to, I don't really get anyone thats upset because theyre afraid the value of the castlevania games are going down. I only wish konami would release simon's quest and dracula's curse also...

My little brother and sister have had the GBA CastleVanias for a while. Since I could easily borrow the games, my CheapAss conscience never allowed me the option of BUYING them. However I feel totally motivated to buy this new dual cart now. And now I'm kind of glad I held off on borrowing them; in a weird way it will feel more satisfying to play my OWN copy of the games.

Wow, awesome deal. Thanks OP. I'm totally into DoS right now after finally taking the plunge on a DS, and I had no idea these were rare, or being re-released either.

Will definitely be picking this up for HoD, considering HoD is way beyond my price range on ebay. Just debating whether or not to sell AoS now... probably won't though, cuz I'm too lazy...

WTF!?!?

Who cares!

Games are meant to be played. Good grief.

I'm glad to see these combo packs. It looks like some companies are trying to sell games for people who just got a DS and never got a GBA so they missed their chance at getting some games.

I hope frys has a deal on it.
