A syndication agreement has been reached between three different companies to syndicate the entire 53-episode run of the critically acclaimed comedy Arrested Development. The agreement was made between Internet portal MSN and cable networks HDNet and G4. According to AOL Entertainment News, the deal marks the first time a web portal has grabbed a fairly recent piece of the rerun market in conjunction with two cable networks.
So G4 now has its first good show.

Even though I'd rather watch it on Comedy Central or any other channel for that matter.

EDIT: The article also says that Arrested Development will air starting in October.

Great...I wonder what game related show they're gonna take off the air in it's place. God knows they won't add it in lieu of one of the 27 versions of Star Trek, Icons featuring Jamie Kennedy, or Formula D (Do they know drifting hasn't been popular since 1998).

G4 was the video game network, correct?
Just buy the DVDs, then you can syndicate it in your living room anytime you want.
I own all 4 seasons of Futurama, yet I still only watch it on Adult Swim.

I have a feeling that the schedule will go something like this:

10pm: The Man Show
10:30pm: The Man Show
11:00pm: The Man Show
11:30pm: The Man Show
12:00am: Star Trek
12:30am: Star Trek
1:00am: Arrested Development

Then, about 5 more episodes of Star Trek.

From what I have read G4 only has it for three years so some other channel may snatch it up after then also they will be available online through MSN so you could watch them that way too.

What's the deal with the msn thing?

Will anyone just be able to stream it online. If so... no need to buy the dvd or watch g4. I've never seen the show but have heard good things so I'll check it out if it's all online (won't bother getting cable at school next year)

How does G4 have all this money to spend on syndication rights, but not enough money to produce a decent original show? They should just change the name of the channel to Miscellaneous Crap.
Isn't G4 supposed to be a video game channel?
As much as MTV is supposed to be a music channel I suppose. Expect their focus on "videogames" to lessen as time goes on. It seems like they're shifting gears and showing things that gamers traditionally like to watch, but aren't necessarily about games.

I don't really see the point though, there are a bunch of networks that already do that. They should change the name of the network from G4 to ME2.
