Nope. Never trust a seller that says "that's as far as I've tested it" or "I don't have the charger" or something along those lines. I'd say 99% of the time, they know it doesn't work.
You can find DS Lites "as is" that have broken screens or hinges or something along those lines for around that price, and they're pretty easy/cheap to fix. If the seller says it plays games (or better yet, shows a picture of it playing a game) then that might be worth the gamble, but it's definitely a no on the untested ones.
