Astonishia Story and Crimson Gem Saga?

I was looking for anyone who has played one or both to give opinions on these. Are they worth putting the time and $$ into getting and playing?

Crimson Gem Saga is good if you can get it for cheap. I wouldn't pay MSRP. I hear Astonishia Story is terrible though.

Crimson Gem Saga is the sequel to Astonishia's Story. It's original name in Korea is Astonishia's Story 2 but changed the name because of the enormous backlash the first game got. Crimson Gem Saga is a good game except that there are no maps in dungeons making the game pretty damn frustrating.

Yeah that is why I asked about both. No dungeon map isn't a big deal, most of the old RPGs I use to play didn't have them either.

No map doesn't make a big deal on the game. I have bad directional memory, but I played it just fine.

I finished and very much enjoyed Crimson Gem Sage. If you play it be sure to get Flight boots which speed your movement and let you avoid combat.

Crimson Gem Saga is very awesome. Avoid Astonishia Story.

I enjoyed Crimson Gem Saga. Definitely worth playing. Can't speak about Astonishia Story, but after the comments I don't think I'll be trying it.

Eh AS was like $6 at Gamestop, so if I hate it; it'll go on Goozex. Also got CGS but can't find a printable cover for it.
