Atlus Working on a PS3 Exclusive Game

Podcast Beyond (Ign's Sony podcast) reports that Atlus is working on a PS3 exclusive game, and might show it off at TGS.

The Mana Knight will be very happy to hear this one.

Most people on this board are in love with Grim Grimoire, Odin's Sphere and Persona.... all made by atlus.

Atlus is def hit or miss all the time.

Growlanser is technically CareerSoft still I believe. Grim Grimoire and Odin Sphere are Vanillaware. Hell, NIS published GrimGrimoire. Atlus mostly does a lot of localization and publishing, but they dont develop all that much in house. I believe they do the SMT games and Trauma Center. Then just random small stuff like Etrian Odyssey.

Actually, Grim Grimore and Odin Sphere is made by Vanillaware. Atlus mostly handles the publishing, translation, localization and marketing here in the U.S. If Vanillaware is involved, that would defiantly spark my interest.

Growlanser series is from Career Soft.

Yes, Atlus have some games that blow chucks. It really depends on your personal taste. They have some great games published by Atlus like Trauma Center, Odin Sphere, Persona 3, Entrain Odyssey, Tactics Ogre ,and many others.

From what I hear, they want to bring SMT to PS3 and Wii. R&D1 is most interested in making a new Devil Summoner, so that may be the PS3 project. Eventually SMT4 will come.
