Put yourself in our shoes. Say this clan comes along and snatches Arikado from you. Are you gonna be cool about that. How about if they come back two weeks later and take Zewone. And they say the reason they keep poaching from you is that they don't have another source. Would you like that?

I'd find it quite amusing and may just jump ship myself. I've actually proposed on more than one occassion that the clans reunite so we can get those big custom games of old back in the mix, i've been really missing those.

I miss those days as well and was wondering if it was just the game getting old making me miss those days. Than last night we had 16 people and played some of the large custom games and it was just as much fun as the old days. I don't see it happening though I think there are enough hatchets to be buried to fill a graveyard.

Well, if you post something up and just say "I disagree," and don't show your reasoning, than your arguement can be excused because it has no foundation. Jlarlee posted up his reason for the disagreement and was 100% correct, we are a group of people who enjoy playing together because we were the cream of the crop.

Meh we have great backup players. So if anyone ever left for someone reason(cough::LedHeD::cough) we would have someone there to fill he shoes. Sure we are gonna miss him and his awesome ability but we are still gonna play.

Now if you lose Kado you would be hurting. And while you could lose one or two guys you'll would be introuble if you lost 3 or 4.

You can have Olrox...I'm not sure if Led or Kado will let that happen though, seeing that Olrox provides satisfactory conditions whenever the urge arises for them to find a hole and stick something in it.
 
The reason that I disagree is because I don't think that Cagtacular is so much better than CAG that you could say you are an elite division of CAG. You actually are your own entity and have no means of assimilating with us. That is unless you continue to recruit from our member list. If people from CAG do transfer over then I guess that you do have the right to make that claim. And I think that is what frustrate some of our members. When you ask someone that has played with us for a while to join your ranks it is kind of insulting. Its like building a castle out of playing cards and having your big brother come in and take out one of the pieces.
 
Am I the only person who truly doesn't give a shit which person is in which clan? It all seems silly and petty to me. I don't look at names and judge them based on who they're rolling with. To be honest, I don't even remember who's where.

On the flip side, though, certain members get their jollies reminding everyone else how L33T their clique is, and that's pretty weak. Pushing pseudo superiority down other people's throats isn't helping anyone, save for your ego. It also puts everyone else on the defensive, inhibiting communication and unity. The bragging rights thread is for puffing out your chest, but it infests every discussion here.

Yeah, you're better at Halo 2 than me; so are most people in either clan. We all have ways to make our dicks out to be the biggest, but that doesn't mean we ought to constantly point it out.

Look, to the CAGtac guys, we can't stop you from trying to pick from our best players. Just know almost everybody on CAG thinks it's a shitty thing to do, and the more you try it, the less it's going to be succesful. I don't look at CAGtac as an elite team, I look at it as a tight group of friends. It's not the same thing. We don't want to "move up" into your clique, and we want you to understand that. You may be better than us as a team, but don't think you guys have more power as a group of friends. I hope I'm making myself clear, this is kind of hard to explain.
 
Who cares, we can ask anyone to recruit, and not feel bad in the least, if they don't accept thats his business, I don't monitor your games but he seemed pretty quick to play with us so we figured we would ask. No harm, no foul.

Alright chill out pimp. No need for that word to be capitalized and used twice. If cheapy wanted it uncensored, he wouldn't have gone through the trouble of making its censored. Scuba is still in these forums, because I hadn't remembered to remove him.

And if this gets much more personal towards anyone, I will remove the problems. Both from CAGTac and CAG. Keep this civil and be on your ways.

Actually for the most part this is the most civil argument I think we have had. Things are improving I guess

Look guys, CAGtac didn't "steal" me away. In Jimmie's words, I'm a grown ass man. I made the decision. I enjoy playing witht the CAGtac guys, and there are more of them that I know and they are on more often. I enjoy playing with a few CAG guys as well, and that won't change. I'm just not in the same clan anymore. It's not as big of a deal as everyone makes it out to be.

The whole point of this damned thing is to have fun isn't it? Let's just enjoy the game . If I didn't have fun, or if there was a clan of friends of mine, here I would leave without flinching.

As I've said before, though, there are those trying to make a bigger gap between the two clans with constantly remarking how one clan is better than the other. If that stuff chills out -- which I think it's starting to -- burnt bridges may yet be rebuilt.
