I've been looking around online for awhile now, and I don't think I have ever seen a deal for any of these.

I want to find the Complete collection of Book I, II, and III (aka Seasons 1,2, and 3) for around $25 for each of them, but the cheapest I can find online anywhere is $40, and that's through Amazon.

Anyone know of a good place to find them for around the $25 range?

Thanks.

Good question. I would also like to catch up on this series and would like to support it, but I refuse to pay DVD prices to download it on iTunes. I want a physical product. Blu-Ray would be ideal, but seems like it's only out on DVD. Hmmm... I shall follow this thread :)

I just have never found a good price anywhere for any parts of the series. I personally enjoyed the series greatly, but I just never see it go on sale at any places online or in store. I'm a sad panda :*(

Now that I think about it I should have picked it up at FYE or Suncoast when I was there. When they were closing. I could have gotten them for like $10 each. Oh well. There are still plenty of fye's in my area that are probably gonna close eventually.

If you're willing to pay for about $32 a season, from now until 2/14 you can get 50% off at nickjr.com. They only have seasons 2 & 3 though. They take the 50% off of the "Our Price," not the "List Price."

For whatever reason the 50% discount wasn't recognized in the shopping cart when I was using Google Chrome, but worked just fine in Firefox. Also, it says you can get free shipping for purchases over $50, but I couldn't get that working either. If you can, it'd be $61 shipped for both seasons, unless you live in one of those states where they apply sales tax (CA, GA, KY, MA, NJ, NY, PA and VA).

Also also, don't try to add the 10% off code because it will remove the 50% off discount.

I think that price is worth it. This show is ridiculously awesome.

I will have to look into this. From the sound of it, it seems that there are things here and there that do not seem to be working correctly, but hey, not like thats your fault XD. Stupid NickJr website!

But yeah, unfortunately I do live in CA too, so I get hit heavy on the tax, so after all that itd be like $67.xx or so after tax, still a bit out of my range.

Hopefully something else will come up.

Thanks for giving the heads up on the NickJr thing though. Maybe that could help someone else out :3

Two Christmas's ago, I got season one and two for $25 each from Bestbuy.com. But season three hasn't gone on sale anywhere since release and that is killing me...because I know as soon as I drop $45 for it, somebody will have it for less. Some people managed to sneak the sets in when Bestbuy had a 50% off Anime sale even though it didn't include "children's animation".

Amazon has some respectable prices when you factor in free shipping and no tax for most. Season two is only $31 while the others are $40.

I lucked into Seasons 2 & 3 from Deep Discount during a BOGO sale on Nick DVDs.
Almost deleted the email and suddenly remembered that Avatar was a Nicktoon...

Even I was Looking out for the same all over.

I felt the same way -- after getting the DVD sets into my Amazon Recommendations and Quick Picks last year -- but $14.99 and less (sale) prices for digital downloads from Amazon and iTunes finally made me pull the trigger on a less shareable version of Book 1 when I came into some useable Amazon credit. If the prices for the other Books/seasons in disc form ever come into that range, I'd have no problem picking them up posthaste.

Those Season 2 and 3 links now take you to the NickShop.com versions at (wait for this) 60% off with free shipping! I'm thinking of dropping the money now, which drops the total to less than $50 for both. (Oh, and 4 points per dollar with Citi ThankYou link. Anyone know of a better rebate/reward?)

I'm really tempted, too, as I only see this show in bits and pieces and have never seen the season sets at reasonable rates.

Ah, couldn't resist. $25 each, shipped?

Holy snap, Seasons 2 & 3 of Avatar together for less than the price of one anywhere else?! I couldn't resist, especially after seeing that I'd save upwards of $75. Thanks a ton, OP!

I bought Book 3 when Deep Discount had them for B1G1 free, I sold the extra and they were around $25 each. I never saw Book 3 before that.

Well, my order for Books 2 and 3 was canceled. No reason was given except that the items are "unavailable" despite being clearly in stock at time of order. I am annoyed, though not so much so that I'll call their customer service.

My order for Books II & III was cancelled, too; this is what Customer Service told me:

Thank you for contacting Customer Support at www.shop.nickjr.com.

Unfortunately, your order has been cancelled because it was out of
stock. We regret if this has caused you any inconvenience. We operate
a real-time inventory system that updates the content of our website
twice a day. Your order was received and processed before the site was
updated to reflect the change in inventory. Unfortunately, your order
could not be fulfilled. Please be assured, you were not charged for the
cancelled merchandise on your order.

We are unable to provide a time frame of when we may receive more of the
merchandise in our warehouse.
:wall:

I feel like I should call bull on this--if the website is updated 2x a day, then I placed my order in the timespan between updates (which is, what, maybe 6-10 hours?), and I kind of doubt this deal became that widely known in such a short time.

Maybe they just don't want to honor the incredible deal.

Twice a day?! That is messed up, it should be updated every few minutes. I guess I should be glad the stuff I ordered shipped (PS2 games and a book)

Yea, I would also like to pick up book 3. I got both books 1 and 2 from BB. I took advantage of a price error on each. I think one of them was $11 because of an error. The other was in the $20 range. That was a while ago and I don't think I've ever seen a sale on book 3. These sets are almost as bad as the Dr. Who sets. The one time I can remember the Dr. Who sets on sale, they were at the full price of the avatar sets.

I ended up getting Books 1 and 3 from Wherehouse.com used -- they have been having 20%+ sales every week -- and today I saw Book 2 at Amazon for 30.99

Nick just sent me an email thanking me for my order and hoping I had a pleasant shopping experience. Amusingly, one of their contacts is a snail mail address for their email permissions manager. I'm going to unsubscribe and tell them what they can go do with their website.
