It's what I've been using to capture my PS3/360 gameplay videos and it's great.

This was $100 a couple of weeks ago, so if you're not in a hurry you may catch that price (or better) again (Newegg sales tend to repeat).

Anybody else find it odd that this was moved to "Other Deals" as "not video game related"?

It's called the "Game Capture HD" and if you read the product manual, that's exactly the targeted use case.

How is this any less video game related than the 2.5" hard drive deals that regularly appear in the Deals forum?
Or the extensive posts about Blu-ray movies in the BB Deal of the Day forum?
CAG just makes me SMH sometimes.

it DOES record in 60FPS btw, Youtube will lower it to 30FPS sadly
Also it will NOT record 1080p. 1080i max, but at 60FPS. the results are pretty much the same, especially once you use the included converter and upload to Youtube.
(Wii will only record at 480p, AVerMedia Game Capture HD will auto adjust it's resolution to whatever is being input into it)
