This weekend may be the best time to skip Fry's Electronics for your purchase of a PS3 or Wii.

Link Here

On launch day, customers will be forced to buy 8 certain games with their PS3 (both 60 and 20 gb models) and a warranty. On November 19, customers will have to buy 5 certain games with their Nintendo Wii.

"At $60 a piece for the software titles, we're talking upwards of $1080 just to get a PS3 from Fry's."

The PS3 Bundle at Fry's
NBA 2K7, Resistance: Fall of Man, Mobile Suit Gundam: Crossfire, Madden 07, Marvel Ultimate Alliance, Tony Hawk's Project 8, Untold Legends: Dark Kingdom, and another game

The Wii Bundle at Fry's
Madden NFL 07, Tony Hawk's Downhill Jam, Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz, GT Pro Series, and Rampage: Total Destruction.

Customers will not be aware that they have to buy bundles until they walk into the store!

Both California Fry's Electronics (Burbank and Manhattan Beach) have confirmed the bundles.

That's so ridiculous. Of course they put the games that are most likely to sell the least. From a business perspective, it is a smart move considering games like Zelda, Red Steel, Excite Truck, etc. will sell on their own, while the less popular games will be sold out as well (in bundle form).
Well where is the "WATCH OUT!!" section?

It is hard to find in the General Gaming News section.
That still doesn't explain why you posted this in Deals.

I don't know if I'm the only one but I hardly look at anything here other than the video game deals forum. Thus, it makes sense for significant game buying news items to be put here.

The forum description specifically states not to post anything but deals.
