Avoid This Game At All Costs
No sir.

It was the last game ever officially released for the Jag (not counting the telegames/songbird/indy releases).
Damn...I wish I still had my Jag. As much as this game was panned the storyline always seemed interesting.

Everyone should give Amagon (NES) a go. It's frustratingly hard and completely awful at the same time. It was very much the Drake of it's day.
Avoid Time Killers for the Genesis. If you are the type of person who goes to the zoo to watch elephants take a crap you can get the same experience at home when playing Time Killers.

http://www.digitpress.com/reviews/timekillers.htm
lol me and my friends had some funny matches when we played Time Killers on MAME. We had one match where I used the Viking dude... the fight started, I took one step forward and hit the "right arm" button, the Viking took one swipe and cut the guy's head clean off. That was the whole match. We cracked up. If you want quality, go somewhere else; but if you're not in the mood for "serious gaming" then Time Killers can be a riot (in small doses). The best part is how the character portrait will be decapitated in the post-match screen, after an in-game decapitation.

They need to work dismemberment into another fighting game dammit. Closest we got was Mortal Kombat 5 where you could impale the guy in the middle of a match.

I hate Chrono Cross, its static characters, its convoluted story, and boring battle system with a passion that I've never felt in my life. I can say that it's near the top of my "Worst of all time" list. On the upside, I've enjoyed my Gamecube immensely and haven't come across another game that's spawned such vehemont rage since.

WOW! That game does look extremly fucking horrible! Another game to avoid would be South Park. It didnt even feel like a video game......it felt like a cold piece of shit that was dressed up as a video game.............
THE worst game ever= FIGHT FOR LIFE for the Atari Jaguar. a real Virtua Fighter rip-off. It makes the game STREET FIGHTER:THE MOVIE look like a fucking masterpiece!
LOL! i have street fighter the movie for saturn, currentally i am using it as a coster. Tomarrow i plan to play frisbee with it. That game had to be one of the worst games i ever played.

OMFG someone actually agrees with me! That game sucked so bad.

And Darkside Hazuki is right about Aidyn Chronicles. It is the worst RPG EVER made. The graphics are atrocious even for N64, the battle system makes no sense, the characters have some of the worst designs ever, oh god I could go on and on about that piece of shit. Not to mention the game giving a BSOD upon booting it up. On a fuckin' N64! I believe I returned it the day after I bought it. Gamestop/Babbage's/EB were truly the best stores around when they allowed you to return open games for full credit. I used that privilege so much, but they didn't care since I bought a ton of games and kept them anyway.
Its still really a rumor. To this day none of the 5 Million cartridges have ever surfaced, and I'm sure people have looked (Rumor is they were bulldozed and cement poured over them as well).
Not sure where I read it but I do remember reading that they were worried that word would spread about the carts being in the landfill and create a problem with people trying to get a free ET cart that they destroyed the carts or did the cement thing, something like that. I think I read that in an interview that the programer of ET gave. He was actually proud of the game, he programed it by himself in I think it was less than 6 weeks.

Showdown: Legends of Wrestling never froze on me.. glitched, yes.. but man, I love that game!

Dino Crisis 3, however.. Even $4.99 in the CC sale was too much for that.. man oh man, that was bad.

Don't worry, you're not alone. My friends and I all vehemently, outwardly, and actively hate and detest the shit that is Chrono Cross.

Strangely, I fucking love Masato Kato and Mitsuda... but that game... is just so slow, boring, pointless, convoluted, unnecessary, emotionless, series-trashing, and anticlimactic that I can't even play it for a few minutes without turning it off in disgust. The music is good, the graphics are good. It has the WORST fuckING BATTLE SYSTEM OF ALL TIME, and the framerate reminds me of the old NES games when too many sprites were on-screen. Hate hate hate hate hate.

SCHALA HAS BLUE HAIR HATE AND WHY HATE IS THE MASAMUNE HATE IN EL NIDO!!!??!?!?

edit: haha, i got away with saying the f-word. and how appropirate it would be about CC's battle system.

Yes, the music and graphics are excellent. But the game is pure shit.

The best graphics from Square's "Summer of Shit" were easily from Legend of Mana. Of course, I can't claim to be 100% reliable about the graphics in CC because everytime I see the game I go blind with rage.

Haha I remember that "Summer of Shit" promotion- first up was Legend of Mana I believe, then Threads of Fate, and finally Chrono Cross. Legend of Mana had shit gameplay like CC, but it also had beautiful graphics. Funny how Square's shittiest PSone games also had the best graphics....

Did anyone even bother with Threads of Fate? I've always wondered if this semi-sequel to Brave Fencer Musashi was any good.

I liked Chrono Cross.. I thought it was more highly rated that that. It definitely had drawn me in like no other when I played it. I really loved the story.. that's strange as hell.

I didn't bother, but it was supposed to be good. But those same reviewers also liked the turds known as CC and LOM.
