Little javeryh was born this evening! Mom and baby are doing great! WOO HOO!!!
 
congrats...my wife is getting annoyed, the baby is due on the 7th and the pressure is getting worse and worse but the doctor says nothing changed yet but it could be "any day now"

lol my nephew was born on July 3rd..

Now go take him to see transformers and get him hooked early :)

My last kid (now 4) was 11 lbs at birth (normal birth too - my wife's a trooper). We just found out our next one (and last) is yet another boy. Maybe he'll be 12 lbs! (Our 3 were girl - 8 lbs 11 oz, boy - 8 lbs 8 oz, and boy - 11 lbs 0 oz) And no, there wasn't the slightest hint of gestational diabetes (which can result in over-sized babies). He's just a big boy - he's now 10 pounds heavier than and nearly as tall as his 7 year-old brother.

We didn't find out what any of the others were before birth but on this one we just found out last week (not due till November) because my wife and daughter wanted a girl... d'oh!

The good news (for him, anyway) is that it was obvious he was a boy in the ultrasound. :mrgreen:

Anyway, congrats javeryh. Now you have to grow up and get a *real* job.
 
Thanks everyone! We did name him - it's javeryh just like his dad. Different "J" though but we gave him my middle name (avery). He is doing great - I'm about to go to the hospital this morning to see him!

Congrats!!! I hope you got him a copy of manhunt 2 for his first game! Only girls start off with mario! ;P

You should build him a crib in the shape of an arcade cabinet to subconsciously steer him in the right direction.

Please train him accordingly in all our ancient ways. Do not skimp on the rituals!
 
Thanks everyone! We just got home from the hospital. It's weird because it's like my family just magically improved by 33%.
