[Back!] DOA Xtreme Beach Volleyball (Xbox) USED $13.50 shipped free AC at EB

Is the volleyball aspect any good for the game itself? Yes, I know, stupid question, but I have to ask it.
 
Its not bad..it plays like actual volley ball with no ridculous laser shots like Outlaw VB. I mean you will have more fun watching the girls spike than trying to win games but its fun as hell...i got this game when it came out and never trade it in.

The volleyball is very simplistic, but it's servicable. This game is really almost like a female dating simulator where you have to interact with the other girls properly in order to get them into the skimpiest possible clothing. Great game!

If you're more interested in the volleyball than the visuals, Beach Spikers for GCN new for $10 would probably have been a better deal.
 
i found the volleyball aspect subpar, superspike volleyball on the nes was deeper and had better controls. this is a good choice if you want a dress up barbie/shopping sim. (i know, i know, i didnt believe ohter people's opinions either and had to try it out).

She's kicking water at the camera, so it's just a weird angle where her thigh is covering her ass. The freakishly large foreheads are what usually throw me off in this game. It's just unnatural to have a forehead that big. She had to have work done.
 
This is one of the few games i have a problem buying USED....

good deal though :)

BTW, shes kicking up the water, her right leg is crossing over her left

Yeah, if you are looking for a really good volleyball game, Beach Spikers is the way to go.

But we all know why you guys are getting this game... ;)

I got Beach Spikers back when it was 4.99, some of the worst money spent on a VB game IMO. DOA VB while simplistic is a visual dream to watch in motion, control isnt so bad, and the sim aspects give it more depth.

I'm kind of tempted for $13.50... big fan of the bouncy, bouncy even if it's just digital ones!
 
I've been wanting this game for a while mainly to ogle the digital girls and show off the power of my xbox. Is this game worth it to buy new? And how is the casino portion of the game?
 
If you want to play with volleyball, then get a different game, if you want to play with your... Nevermind, I think you already get the idea...

You are correct, sir. Bought it at release. Wrote a FAQ for it. Got tired of people emailing me questions when the answers were in the FAQ. Stopped writing FAQs.

It has blackjack, roulette, poker and some slot machines.
 
I think people are being a little hard on the volleyball. It's simple but fun and matches can actually get pretty tense! the gambling is fun too.

The only thing it's lacking is chicks with skimpy outfits and huge knocke....I mean, a 4 player mode!


btw, thanks for posting the deal cheapy! now I have every tecmo game for the xbox. i'm a big fan of that company('cept rygar, that game was kinda meh.)
 
Yep, I am proud to say this is the one game I've played the most on my Xbox. I'ts alot more than what most people think (unfortunatley, some people can't see past that)... and yes the girls are very well endowed... and I like it :)

But most of the torrent sites have the nude hack for download...'course, you need a modded Xbox for it...

Wow -- I'm not so sure about that. Granted, Beach Spikers doesn't have the eye candy that DOA EBV does, but it beats it hands down in terms of gameplay. The BIG difference between the two is that DOA EBV is clearly about the T&A while AM2 and Yu Suzuki were aiming for a GAME that really was about women's volleyball.

If you want a real volleyball game, Beach Spikers is easily the better title. If you want a virtual dating sim, then, well I guess this is your game.
 
Is this deal as amazing as it's being played up to be? I don't have a lot of spare cash to throw around lately (IRS problems) and unless it's super I don't want to spend. You know? I am a little wary.

Do you think this price will become regular in a few months? (Namely, after April 15).
 
I owned the game since near its release. When my girlfriend saw the cover of it (she wasn't my girlfriend when I bought it) she couldn't stop laughing. And then she demanded I put it in so we could play. Most embarrassing moment of my life, though I think she kinda enjoyed it.
 
sold out now? oh well. I was just about to check out and buy the game yesterday but then my broadband connection died for a few hours. It's probably for the best since I already have too many unplayed games at home.

They shipped mine via FedEx (but I ordered free shipping). The game is very "gay" (not that there is anything wrong with that). Yes, the eye candy is kinda fun but the gameplay is poor and all of the item acquistion is for girls. When the character is turned down for matches she whines . . . "you're so mean."

Still worth owning for its historical interest.
 
Is there any reason I couldn't use someone else's Edge number to get the extra discount on an order? My number isn't working for some reason. If that isn't a problem, and someone doesn't mind, would you PM?
