Was there an official press release about a reprint?

"The new production of the USA version of Phoenix Wright has shipped from Capcom"

I think this says it all

Anyone who does not have this game yet needs to forget about being cheap for a little bit, this is one amazing game and we dont know if this is just one more short run or somthing. Just order the game folks.

Touche. Anyone know where we can pick this game up w/ free shipping? I'll update the 1st post if such a store exists. And I'd have no problem spending $40 on this if I hadn't recently bought Osu! Tatakae Ouedan, Meteos, and Trauma Center. :bomb:

I'll agree it's a great game if you like text-heavy adventures. I've only gotten through the first 2 cases so far, but you should all realize it won't have much replayability after you beat it. But at least this will be cheaper than (or equal to) the ebay used prices now.

I thought it was a very average graphic adventure. Certainly nothing compared to some of the classics of the 80's and 90's. The courtroom parts are enjoyable, but the investigating is clunky and slow. Plus, there's virtually no challenge or replay value. I think a lot of people overstate this game's worth because of its underdog quality.

Hurray!!! Such good news I haven't heard in a while. Hopefully Fry's will get some in next Monday, or if not then hopefully someone like Outpost or Amazon will have the game. Not going to make the same mistake again and pass on it.

I should have sold my spare copy a long time ago:bomb: Oh well that explains the sudden surge in ebay listings for this game. Oh well eveyone should buy this game it's very good
People, this is your chance. If you miss out this time, I won't have any pity for you.
Thing is... people will not want it any longer... will not be rare.

I agree nearly 100% with this. The game has no replay value almost at all. The game is also seems to be way to linear. I tried to test it out while I was playing, but it seems you can only solve a case in one way. There does not seem to be any extra hidden things to either solve a case quicker or change the outcome.

Still good play though though.

Replay value aside, it's the most enjoyable game I've played in God knows how long. I was riveted to my DS till I finished it.

Kind of like a really great book - there's only one way to play but the journey is one hell of a ride.

No Lost in Blue, though. Even though you can still order if from Best Buy and Buy.com they say they'll ship in 1-2 weeks.

I just bought a copy of ebay for $45 a few weeks back. So the $43 price after shipping means I didn't do to bad. Plus I got a first press.

i will wait until this is super cheap somewhere, try to get it either during b2g1free at gamestop/eb or off of ebay as the prices are dropping like crazy

I sold a sealed copy with a buy-it-now of $65 plus shipping last week and it sold within 24 hours.

There are people preselling these on Ebay now for as low as $32 plus shipping but they don't have them in hand.

Person I bought it from said it would ship within 48 hours. Not sure if it's a presale or not, though.

Thank goodness! It was fun owning a rare game, but I hope more people get the opportunity to play this and that this means the other PW games will really come to the DS and not just cellphones! :)

Right on, daroga. This is a big win for DS owners who missed it the first time, and bodes well for a sequel. I couldn't be happier!

Yes, I agree that this bodes extremely well for the sequel hitting the US. Though it's only sold around 20-30k copies, the need for a second printing is probably something Capcom didn't anticipate. While, as I said, I thought it was an average game overall, the fifth episode, which was designed specifically for DS, did some interesting things with the hardware. I'd be interested in seeing what they come up with for the first all-new DS installment.

Wait a second...we're supposed to believe that Capcom isn't sold out of this game? It's going for $60+ on Ebay and no retailers...not even the mom and pops...are trying to reorder the remaining stock? That seems a little hard to believe. Don't we have a couple small retailers that post here...some guys that own some websites that sell new games? Have they tried ordering more copies of this?

I wouldn't doubt Capcom might be seeing what the hype does. But I've dealt with NCSX extensively in the past and have absolutely no reason to doubt them. They say they got their stock in, I ordered one over the weekend, I'm anxiously awaiting it. I hope they don't suddenly flood the market at $19.99 since NCSX was kinda high, but at least I'll have a copy.

They say they'll have enough for a few months (?!?) so who knows. Maybe some distributor found a large stock they didn't properly inventory or something.

The whole game has quite a saga to it, you can't deny that!!

This is one of the most intellectually entertaining games in the last few years, and it would be great for the other games to be translated/improved and ported here!
I posted this in the ds section, but more people will see it here. It's in stock at CD Universe for much cheaper than ncs. About $30 and reasonable shipping. Don't let ncs gouge you.

Cduniverse also has Lost in Blue for those who want to combine shipping (only $1 extra per item) and get two HTF games in one order.

I ordered both for $66 and change, which really is really just a couple bucks more than MSRP (after tax) had i found them locally, which is impossible to do anymore. So overall, a pretty good deal.

I wonder how much of a run the reprint will get. I managed to find a used copy @my local gamestop for $19.99 last week and bought it with store credit, so I'm no longer in the market for the game. Oh well...

Finally. I was worried about the conflicting reprint reports lately, but I just ordered one from Wal-Mart. Huzzah! Thanks guys.

Same here. $34 or so shipped. I have been wanting this game for awhile now, so I am happy. Granted, part of the appeal for me was the rarity factor, but even still, I think this game will be lots of fun to play and keep. Now my only concern is keeping my wife from finding out that I ordered it; I am on game-buying restriction! :(
