Backup PS3 PSN Games on New PS3?

I hate to create a "How To" Topic, but I'm at wits end. I have an old PS3 FAT 120GB console and I'm thinking about getting a second for the 65 Inch Plasma in my bedroom. Can I backup my PSN Games on the new one? For example our sharing group just bought Dead Nation and I want to get it on the new system, can I just use the backup utility to do that?

No you can't. All five slots are used, and you can't use it on a new PS3 unless you deactivate the slot on your old PS3.

Backup utility only does media and game saves. No games and no game data.

If you transfer your backup to a different system, locked saves won't copy (AC2, Demon's Souls, Killzone 2, Heavy Rain, Vanquish, etc.). Locked saves only transfer with the 'data transfer'

There is a specific function that will move your copy protected game saves (Demon's Souls, etc.) but "MOVE" is the operative word. You'll only be allowed to literally remove your info from one PS3 console only to install it into another PS3 console.
